The Golden Eagle a cracking little pub. Had the best pint of St Austell Tribute ever when I visited in 2010.

It's a great place. I was very tempted to spend all afternoon there but needed to check out the other good pubs in the area.

We arrive on the 11th so may head west for two nights.We've then got two nights booked in Fort Collins so will be able to fit a few tours in. Will probably do the Breckenridge tour whilst staying in Denver.

After Denver have 5 nights to head out on the road. May head north or west.

They may be exploiting a loophole but legally they're not doing anything wrong.

It's one thing to protest or demonstrate against something you don't agree with but Sea Shepherd go beyond that by causing criminal damage and endangering life.

He shouldn't have to cooperate when he hadn't done anything wrong. I've been stopped in my own town for taking photos of buildings.

In London in 2008, police made 170,000 stops under section 44 and made just 65 arrests, a success rate of just 0.035% (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/.... Just goes to highlight the misuse of the act.

The Seven Stars is one of my favourites and has replaced Holborn station.

What pubs are close to where you work?

I'm going to be able to populate the stations within the circle line. Outside that I don't think I'll be able to visit many of them so will be looking for suggestions.

If you are around on the Friday we might be able to meet up. I'm going to be visiting the pubs in the afternoon.

Will be going to the Olde Mitre. They have got a beer festival to coincide with the GBBF. It's the only time that it's open on the weekend. I think all of the beers are Scottish.

Will also be paying a visit to the Jerusalem Tavern and possibly The Bell on Cannon Street, Old Doctor Butler's Head and Ye Olde Watling.

You may be interested in a new project I've started. I'm converting a London Tube Map to pubs so that every station is the best pub in that area.

I'm going to be in London on the Firday to visit some old pubs and then visiting the festival on Saturday morning/early afternoon.
