Great post - another interesting aside might be new apps that facilitate sharing albums without needing the user to engage in the drudgery of selecting the best pics. Think Carousel by Dropbox or Google Photos (which even automates this with Assistant).

That would get the taken:shared ratio more even, at least in the case of the users that share via those apps.

Dave I do this all the time. The easiest way on iPad is using Dropbox export as you mentioned. On a traditional Kindle it's just a question of connecting the device to your PC using USB and then drag & drop.
