It has a steeper learning curve than a TouchPad. You have to use it for some time to really appreciate it. Average Joe won't buy anything he needs to learn to use first.

It will require the apps to be recompiled and put on RIM's App World. You won't be able to go to Android Market on the PlayBook and buy apps. It just gives the devs a quick way to port Android apps to PlayBook.

Really? Scrolling was one of the major problems I had with Chrome. It scrolls too fast and there's no way to configure it. Extensions didn't help either. And scrolling was unresponsive until the page fully loaded. FF4 works much better for me in this regard. (running Windows 7)

Maybe you could do it online then? I mean to have it uploaded to your server and scaled there. This could be quite slow but maybe it could be done in the background.

Or maybe provide the C++ component as an option for advanced users that want better scaling.

As cool as it would be if you could make it happen somehow, I feel better now knowing it's not your fault :)

Taboo is cool. Thanks for the update. There's just one thing that disturbs me - the scaling algorithm. Right now you seem to be using the nearest-neighbor one which is simple but makes the thumbnails look pretty ugly. Would be cool if you could do something about it.
