Toyota will silence its critics if it can! Sometimes, its minions stalk the most vocal Toyota owners in order to intimidate them into silence! Been there, done that for the last 9+ years! SUPERB reporting Ralph and Ken! Keep up the fantastic work---it is NOT easy tackling Toyota!

Am I the only one extremely annoyed by Toyota's minimization of the major problems in its vehicles? That last paragraph reminds me of the refrain from Toyota when engine oil sludge first started to plague so many of the Toyota vehicles! Remember...Toyota said 0.1% of its vehicles were affected and that the MIL light would come on? This is the same problem that continues today! Toyota came out in 2002 with the CSP for "Engine Oil Gelation." It claimed it would replace engines----called its own program "generous and unprecedented." BUT...guess what? Toyota didn't follow through. See the over 3,100 signatories on the "Toyota Owners Unite for Resolution" online petition! Toyota is feeding the public a boatload of it! See the Toyota Oil Gel website and the Toyota Owners Unite for Resolution: Engine Oil Sludge. There are over 3100 Toyota owners STILL waiting for Toyota to respond! Bruce C. Ertmann ignored them when he was CEO in Customer Service under James Press. Now, James Lentz is ignoring these customers who have been taken advantage of. Thanks to Toyota, we will be depending on foreign oil for a long, long time! These vehicles drink oil like water!

Check out the online Toyota engine oil sludge petition. There, over 3,000 people have searched for information about their major Toyota and Lexus engine failures. They report how Toyota was unwilling to resolve the problem. Many report that Toyota dealerships LIED to them about the matter and intentionally withheld information about the "Customer Support Program for Engine Oil Gelation" which was initiated in 2002.

Toyota is escaping responsibility for this matter by blaming the vehicle owners. Why are so many emissions-control components failing? Why are so many sludge victims facing a stalled vehicle on major highways and the potential for life-threatening injury? Why is the NHTSA not doing more in this matter?

Toyota and Lexus owners are on their own---but little do they know that no one is following up on the major problems in their vehicles. Toyota can say it is going to send out 3.3 million letters to its customer and then NOT do it! This is what happened in the engine oil sludge case. Far too many Toyota owners report they never received such a promised letter.

John Hanson said from day one that Toyota was "unaware of a single case of engine oil sludge in a properly maintained vehicle." Hmm....is this just what John Hanson wants us to believe? If so, the truth is that there have been hundreds, no thousands, of this engine failure in the wake of proper vehicle maintenance. But...Toyota doesn't want to acknowledge this OR tell the public this. It is far easier to DENY, DENY, DENY!

When will someone stop Toyota? When will Toyota be called to task for the lies and deception?

Toyota is hiding more than sudden acceleration problems. Research Toyota Engine Oil Sludge to find more. See the video about it on YouTube. I've been following Toyota's response since late 2000, and the blame directed at the Toyota and Lexus owners is unconscionable! Toyota does not care about the loss of human life, IMO. It cares only about the bottom line. It is only worried about its reputation, which IMO is inflated given the history of air bag, brake, transmission, engine, seat belt, emissions control component failures, etc. When will Toyota stop deceiving the public?

Toyotatech, you are incorrect. Toyota does NOT bend over backwards. What you mean is that Toyota kicks its vehicle owners in the behind most of the time by blaming them for the inherent vehicle problems!

What an unbelievably lame excuse for the SUA---a faulty floor mat! Let's see---how better to distract from the serious, life-threatening nature of this problem! Make the problem as minimal as possible by connecting it to the FLOOR MAT! No way!

Toyota has been blaming its Toyota and Lexus vehicle owners for inherent problems for a decade plus! When will the nonsense end? When will the NHTSA do its job and PROTECT consumers? Why is it that we, the Toyota owners, and the public are being placed in harm's way like this? WHO is going to remedy this situation?

Mat causing the stuck Toyota (Lexus) accelerator? Hardly! This is yet another way for Toyota to blame the owner. Is there any major vehicle defect where Toyota will not blame the owner? Take a look at the "Toyota Owners Unite for Resolution: Engine Oil Sludge" online petition at http://www.petitiononline.c.... There are over 3,000 petition signatories already yet Toyota says that only 3,200 people had the sludge problem? Gross underestimation? Of course!

Toyota's major safety issues are being blamed on the drivers of its vehicles! This is a low blow by a company! Talk to the owners who have experienced non-deployment of the Toyota air bags (if they are not DEAD!) and see what they have to say about safety issues in Toyotas!

Name-calling, flattening of tires, threats, and even attempts to run over the protesting Toyota owner are just some of this Toyota dealerships tricks to dealing with a dissatisfied customer!

Toyota---SHAME on you for trying to once again incriminate the Toyota owners---and DEAD ones at that!! You need to confess about your quality issues and resolve the current and former issues that Toyota owners had had to face over the last few years!! Stop the facade---stop the blame game---stop the FRAUD!!
