Your sons are in the same age range of mine, they are 15 months apart at 12 and 13. The 12 yr old is nonverbal the 13 yr old is HFA and homeschooled for middle school years.

This is very similar to those yellow buttons that used to say child on board.

I have a bumper sticker that is for emergency personnel, police to know since it states autistic child may not respond to verbal commands. Inside there is a sticker notifying that the child sitting in seat is nonverbal. These are important in case of acident and I am not able to speak or pulled over by police they know the kids have autism.

Glad all is okay now. My son never had peanut butter and I asked the special ed teacher if she had an epi-pen and she did not know what it was. I said she could not be trying new foods on the kids than and I reminded her he had not had it yet. Now he has and all is okay, but people do need to be educated.

I am quite new here and not even sure how I find the site. I was surprised to see it has existed for a year and I never knew anything about it.

I do not like or really understand the rankings portion and think that is a hindrance for me coming to the site since it makes no sense to me.

I like reading blogs and the comments on pages and own pages and have to think of content to put up.

I find the search feature very confusing and hard to get to the forum and I have no way of finding threads where I posted and to see if any responses.

Last year at this time I found CafeMom and jumped into it for a few months and could not take all the music and cursing and cliques and not very active any more.

I think the ranking thing is not a good idea.

I cannot even figure out how to make this comment stick. Why do I have to register with someplace else to make a comment? This is quite frustrating.
