Ample only covers the "not to little" part, does it not? I would agree that optimal is a good translation though.

You don't plank a person—you plank into a location, such as a subway station, a bus, a cinema or an arena. It doesn't have to involve going through behind someone else (even though that might well be how it started), but only implies that you entered someplace illegally.

You use the lid as a spoon for most of the cream, making the height of the rest small enough to get your mouth around. This is also why the weird variant that's cut too high doesn't work. Too small lid and too high to bite through.

I think software patent is bullcrap, and M$ is correct in this case. However, haven't they crushed smaller companies before, for patent infringement? They can't have the cake and eat it too. And their product being more widely known has nothing at all to do with anything! Either software patents exist, and whoever was first wins, or everyone decides to trash them and everybody wins.

Jag har väldigt svårt för starka parfymer (speciellt om folk har 3 liter på sig) och det är precis lika störande som folk som luktar rök. Men jag inser att det är något jag får acceptera. Däremot skiljer det sig markant från själva röken, vilken jag absolut tycker ska vara förbjuden på allmän plats.

Jag har inget emot rökrum. Där inne stör det ju ingen, och jag förstår inte helt varför man tar bort rökrum där de har funnits tidigare. Fast jag förstår inte heller att man inte kan klara att vänta med cigaretterna tills man har landat igen. Då måste man ju verkligen vara beroende. Det är inte som att man förbjuder något livsnödvändigt, som mat eller vatten.

Eftersom felet åtgärdades, har ju hyresvärden i princip erkänt att det var fel på lägenheten. Klart de ska betala retroaktivt, eftersom de inte fixade det från början!

Konstigt förresten att detta är nyheter. De "avslöjade" sig som kristna redan i låten "Thy Unveiling" 2002. Jag gillar deras musik (tyck vad ni vill om det :P) men jag bortser från eventuella agendor.

I like this article. Hopefully I'll help you spread literacy by tweeting it. :) I've probably always been wrong about "comprising" as in point 4. I also think I might use erroneous comma placement at times.

I must point out though, not to be evil, that there are several errors in this post too. For example, "axillary" is a part of anatomy, while "auxiliary" probably is what you want. "There are so many to chose from" should have "choose" instead of "chose". There are some periods with no blanks between themselves and the next sentence. One quote starts with a double quotation mark, and ends with a single.

Please don't take offence. I wouldn't normally point it out, but since it's a post about grammar, I felt obligated.

Sure, I mean it's a simple thing to do, but to me it's an important principle that you shouldn't have to do that. An employer should not have the right to inspect you on your own time. I'm not sure I could work for a company that did that, even if I don't consider myself to be someone who does stupid things.

Why should a company be allowed to dictate what I say or do on my free time? That's shocking! I mean, sure, they might have a say if I go around saying bad stuff *about them*, but if I happen to do stupid stuff that has nothing to do with my work place, why should they even be allowed to care?
