Thank-you for sharing such a personal post. I too have suffered some losses in the last year and have spent many months reevaluating what I am doing with myself. It is only this week that I heard a podcast that put into words what I had been struggling with. It presented the idea that whatever you should be doing should feel like freedom, not a prison.

It's funny that you mentioned Eat Pray Love, because it was Elizabeth Gilbert's Podcast Magic Lessons that touched me. Episode 201: "You Have Screaming, Not A Calling" just in case you want to have a peek.

I just found my way over here from Untangling Knots and was surprised to see my name on this post. If the Stargazing color way had existed when I knit the first Celestarium, I would have probably used it. It reminds me of laying on the lawn and looking up at the stars.

I'm sorry to hear that you've been so unwell. Having dealt with health issues for the last 6 months myself, I have a newfound appreciation for feeling well.

Also, that BooSock yarn look so pretty. I think the hat will look great in it.

I have to admit that as much as I like handspun, I usually like it better in skein form than knit. But when I saw the picture of those socks, I actually gasped. They are beautiful!

I've dabbled with analog photography for a few years. I found it much cheaper to have rolls processed without prints. I bought a scanner that could scan film, which has saved me a tidy sum.
