I've yet to use either of those phones, but I haven't had an issue with the brightness of my screen. It's been just as bright as my 4S and my old Droid 1.

I personally mess around with my phone way too much to go with a skinned version of Android, but if that's not true for you, just go with your favorite phone of the 3. Like I said, I haven't used either of the new flagships from Samsung and HTC, but the Galaxy Nexus is by far the best phone that I have used.

I totally agree that the addition of the animations makes it feel faster, but I also believe that they have improved beyond just that.

As far as the animations go, I love the animation when you click on a notification and the app flies on to the screen.

Makes me a proud GNex owner (best phone of all time?), but it's curious to see the difference between ICS and JB. The most important piece of the Android puzzle for me is responsiveness, though, and JB definitely beats out every previous version of Android.

Motorola hardware (screens withstanding) usually has a build quality to it that Samsung has never matched. Their problem has always been software. Now, if Google could fix the software issue, Motorola phones start looking pretty good! Oh, and stop using shitty screens Motorola.

The Swiftkey 3 beta has made me wonder why I was ever so attached to my physical keyboards in the past. I recommend trying it out, you may not even want a physical keyboard afterwards.

I don't even have AT&T. I just don't support blatant money grabs by companies. Remember when they killed unlimited data and claimed that 98 percent of users use less than 2GB? Do you really think that's changed so dramatically since then? No. AT&T just wants more money for delivering the same amount of service.

@chris125. If it was the chips that cost more, full retail price would go up from 3G phones to 4G phones. It hasn't. It's just VZW trying to subsidize less of the phone.

No way they got it that smooth without it. Also, there's a 'Force GPU Rendering' option in the menu, most likely because this is still a developer build. Finally looks as smooth as the iPhone!

I have a D1 with a 3.7" display.... no way I would ever go smaller. I wanted at least a 4.3" and 4.65 is fine by me.

The camera will most likely be every bit as good as the one on the 4S, only with less megapixels. Shoot, now I can't print poster sizes from my phone's pictures. DAMN IT!
