Given that these events are the only possibly bump in the road to re-election, I suppose we should also consider the possibility that Trump was handed a fait accompli which he chose to own. His other option being to explain to his supporters that he is not in control of the Pentagon.

The facts of the tragedy have more to do with mandated "climate goals" rather than cuts to fire fighting services.

Ignoring the central problem is no way to correct the situation.

The victims at Grenfell are not the only victims of climate hysteria. When one considers the fuel poverty suffered by hundreds of millions, and the doubling and tripling of basic food prices due to ethanol use, climate hysteria ranks globally as the number one killer today.

I saw that piece at teleSUR and was disappointed that they use "Survival International" as a source.

Years ago I noticed that this organization targeted the "pink" Latin American nations while minimizing focus on US aligned regimes.

It's not that I can prove that the facts about the Cameroon piece are wrong but the whole piece amounts to agitprop warmongering.

All African nations have similar schemes whereby they finance wildlife preservation through limited hunting allocations.

Cameroon was selected for this attack because it happens to have been developing military ties to Russia and not Africom.

When I saw the story at teleSUR I did not try to independently confirm the facts, I just did a quick search for Cameroon + Russia.

If we disseminate this demonization of the Cameron regime we are in fact doing nothing for Pygmies but we are furthering the aggressive plans of imperialists.
