Yes. I have even tried that on 18.04.1 LTS. It shows the following:

"English(India with Rupee) / Bengali Avro (Phonetic) / Preferences Avro / Show Keyboard Layout". But Bangla is not showing in Libre Office.

When the language preference is set to 'Bengali Avro (Phonetic)', and I shut down the computer to restart, then at the window to enter user password of system, the Bangla font appears. And then I can not login . Please help me, if you or anyone can. :-)

I had no problem of working with Avro on 16.04 LTS. It worked seamlessly on any allowable place of internet, to write in Bangla. In 18.04 LTS, Avro was installed numerous times. But it is not working to write Bangla. Can you please help me? :-)

Jio Fiber (100 Mbps) not working. Intermittently since last night Jul31/Aug01, and completely down since morning of August 01 2018. CustomerCare of JioFiber reported there is no outage in Indirapuram, 201014.

কথায় বলে সাবধানের মার নেই। অসাবধানের মিত্র দুর্বার গতি। আর সেই গতিই সর্বনাশের মুল। কালোটাকার কালিয়াতির কুকর্মের ফল যে এমনটা হবে, তা এই প্রজন্মের মেয়ে ও ছেলেদের বিশেষ নজর দেয়া উচিত।

মদ্যপান করাটা বড় ব্যাপার নয়। নয়দিন পর এলকোহলের মাত্রা জানার জন্য বিক্রমের রক্ত পরীক্ষার ব্যাপারটা পরিষ্কার বুঝিয়ে দিচ্ছে, সবকিছু মাটির তলা দিয়ে হচ্ছে। আমরা অবাক হবোনা, শেষ অব্দি পুলিশ হয়ত এটা প্রমাণ করবে, গাড়ী সোনিকা চালাচ্ছিল।

Dear Abhishek,

Thanks for your nice article. Recently I procured a new assembled computer with the following.
Intel i5-4440 processor
Intel DB85FL motherboard, with my old Samsung SyncMaster 943. I am using an adapter to connect this to the back-plane of the computer.

I fresh installed Ubuntu 13.10, over 12.04.4, 64bit. I installed mostly all you have suggested. It is working fine except that I am still plagued with two major problems from day one.

Please have a look at this.

2. The system is working on SUSPEND/RESUME, REBOOT, but not SHUT DOWN. I tried suggested commands from terminal, but it shuts down for about 2/3 seconds and then again BOOTS all by itself.

When I hot shut-down it, the next time it does not start. After putting the LiveCD it boots. Then comes the WARNING about hot shut-down, and then it boots.

I shall be glad if you could find some time for me to suggest the remedies. By the way, though I am using Ubuntu for a long time. But I am not a software person.

the true meaning of 'republic'. It is not so with Islamic Republic
of Pakistan. Because, 'Islam' and

terms. They just can not go together at all. (Read Qu'ran, Ahadith and Sira atleast, if you doubt or become curious!)

There are 57 member states of
Organisation of Islamic Council/Cooperation/Conference
(OIC) for the same cause to uphold
the interest of Islamic Ummah, and not democracy.

Therefore, no matter whatever name one
would call a 'rose' or a piece of 'coal', they would remain same. So
to spend a second with Pakistan, for whatsoever reason
would be futile and would be recorded as another farce in the
history.

Hi Buddies, I am using Ubuntu 11.10 , 64bit on a Core2Quad system with nVidia 1GB graphics card, and everything is working like a charm. Now, I am tempted to upgrade it to Ubuntu 12.04. Will there be a problem with the nVidia driver etcetera? Please advice.

Thank you very much for answering all my written and unwritten querries. That was so nice and kind of you. I am truly touched by the sincerity and warmth you have shown to me. I wish you were my real-life friend.

I understood the limitation of the place of your photo-shoot, especially when you wanted for candid incorporation of human element. And of course, not having a hi-res zoom lens under such situation one would feel handicapped.

Anyway, you are a wonderful photographer, much better than even many pros. YOU do have an inherently trained 'third eye' to see pictures. Keep it up friend.
