agree with your comments. better screening of speakers is a must for the next one. i was bored by over half of the presenters and ended up leaving a little early as well. i liked the twitter wall a lot though, definitely added to the overall experience.

i honestly learned everything i know from w3schools.

I'd recommend finding a site that uses only CSS and divs for EVERYTHING and html just for placement/layout (no styling in the html) and grabbing their code... then just figuring out what everything does.
