My favorite accessory is my gold necklace. My mom gave me the necklace when I was in middle school and I have a Ethiopian cross pendant on it that my father gave me for my 13th birthday. Also I have a Christian cross on it that I purchased myself when I got my first job. Each part of this accessory has a special meaning and place in my heart. I rarely take off the necklace and I hope to one day pass it on to my daughter.

As an educated, curly-haired, African-American woman and avid fan of Big Brother I have major problems with what you wrote. I admire your candor but I have to wholeheartedly disagree. You are a great writer and I was a fan of yours from the beginning (not because of skin color but personality). But I began to dislike your game play and behavior in the house shortly after your first HOH. Thankfully, I am able to separate a game from the real world and after Big Brother ended I no longer had any feelings toward you or any other player. I will acknowledge the fact that there are racists and crazies on this earth that are going to place you into a box no matter what you do but to say you were disliked mainly because of color is a fallacy. But I think I might be able to tolerate you on Big Brother All-Stars should you be invited = ) Good luck and best wishes!

I love these tips especially the one about mosquito bites and sweating. I have a good amount of mosquito bites on my body right now and they are a pain to cover up when bitten on your face. Also I love the tip about sweaty feet, I hate wearing heels and constantly slipping and sliding. Great post!

I think that Kim Kardashian is beautiful and has an amazing manager in her mom Kris Jenner. Her mom is making sure that every single one of her kids are extending their 15 minutes of fame by years. I can't knock the hustle but it I do think Glamour over looked some worthy contenders especially in Jessica Simpson.

Simpson went from not knowing if tuna was fish or chicken to amassing a billion dollar empire and she did it by having something Kardashian does not, and that is talent. I pick Simpson as an example because she is very similar to Kardashian in the fact that she has a parent who doubles as a manager. Kardashian has her mom and Simpson has her dad.

In the end, I hope Glamour chooses more wisely next year and picks someone who also socially conscious not conscious of there social life. Maybe the good people at Glamour need to listen more closely to Reese Witherspoon's speech because I don't know if my heart can take it if the decided to pick Snooki next year.

Great article Sasha! I really love the W South Beach and I think their amenities is what sets them apart from other hotels on the beach. They are modern sophisticated and the amenities truly unique. You can really tell that they took time out to consider what the consumer wants and that continues into service. I really see only great things from the W and Starwood. Quality brands never go out of style.
