I especially like the begin at the beginning - sometimes great stories actual grow backwards. The end may be the first thing that comes into the writer's head. How the characters get to this point is really the journey - sequence will take care of itself once the idea is in place. Of course it is also amazing to be able share all of your childhood favourites with your own children. My girls love Where the Wild Things Are, it was my favourite and now its one of theirs, so much fun.
