haha i got a huge kick out of this. thank you.
god, i would have been just as much of a mess. but mostly because i fucking love squeeze, don't care how old they are. how does anyone maintain composure around celebrity? i took real physical effort to be a normal human being when i chilled with ted leo at bonnaroo. i might have been visibly shaking, though. who knows.
also, everyone thinks they don't know squeeze at first, but come on "tempted"? everyone knows that song and has sung it drunk at least once.

let me know how you like it. the last eno-produced album and they really got their money's worth.
after that it goes: 77 (great fucking debut album), buildings + food, speaking in tongues, fear of music. i'm of the opinion they peaked early, before they started getting real poppy.

i'm pretty lazy when it comes to downloading. i never figured out how the fuck bittorrent works. but if you like indie stuff, there is an AWESOME alternative. all you have to do is get a livejournal and join this community: http://community.livejourna... they have a lot of stuff, nicely organized, downloads really fast in zip files.

i'd say you're very right, with a few notable exceptions: the pietasters, the cassettes, exit clov, q and not u. oh and ted leo and the pharmacists formed in dc! even if ted himself is from jersey or whatevz. but then again, i'm from around these parts.

also: WASHINGTON SOCIAL CLUB. dead now. but so so great while they were around. check them out.
