Bulls because there wasn't a St. Louis basketball team (besides I grew up on Michael Jordan). Parents are from Wisconsin, so I inherited Green Bay, and had a bunch of friends who were Blackhawk fans.

But there's no way I could change any of those. I hope you root for the Sox now instead of the Cubbies. Cheering on the Cubs would be blasphemy.

Re: Hawks, meet the bandwagon. Bandwagon, meet the Hawks

No, you didn't come off that way at all. It is interesting (and exciting) to see the transformation of this franchise happen so quickly. From the change in ownership to the success of the team in two years, the fans like you who have been there all along have to be just ecstatic right now. I'm just glad to have been able to watch the Hawks a bit over the past two years.

Thanks for the education, by the way. My knowledge of the rules comes almost exclusively from video games and movies. Needless to say, NHL Hitz didn't teach me a whole lot.

Re: Hawks, meet the bandwagon. They were never on TV. Now that they are, I have become a huge fan, although I haven't tried to pretend I've been with the team fighting tooth and nail.

I can understand the pain Blackhawks fans have suffered, and it was great to see the home crowd send the team off to the Conference Championship last night. You could feel the relief and excitement from the stadium.

And yes, for the record, I don't know the difference between a high-sticking infraction vs. a high-sticking penalty. But I'm determined to find out.

Re: Jake And Amir Dot Com

Hahahahaha!
