Having lived in NYC most of my life and now living in the bay area, I am familiar with high cost of living.

The surprising thing about your hypothetical struggling 250k urban household is that they are most likely highly educated, progressive and support ACA as it curbs pharmaceutical companies from taking advantage of Americans and allows far more people to have access to basic healthcare than hurts. Something they understand is good for a country's bottom line, like public education, access to higher education and social security.

Yup, even though you could access it using http via browser, in the config file it had to be set to https.

In case anyone else had this issue, I was able to resolve it in my case by changing the serverURL from http to https for my heroku hosted parse server.

I always wanted a lawn for the same reason, or a roof garden. Fresh veggies and fruit are always nice. Too bad that's such a luxury in Brooklyn.

The advantage is being able to look it up and remember it if it's at least romanized, without having to learn a new character system. Example, I know what kimchi is but I wouldn't be able to read it in Korean.

It should still be up to the business owner but they would probably get more business if they were a bit more accommodating.
