What? Does the car drives like a crab???Waking in the sides? Is it not dangerous... I think Im missing something here... Do I have to drag the crab to the car??? Should I click? Perhaps I have to shake my computer???

Re: Itaucard: Big Dream

It was probably the reason it didn't make Cannes! It is a bank in Brazil, considering that English is not the language in the country, it was pretty good.

Re: Itaucard: Big Dream

wow... actually, WOW! One of my favorites! I was questioning why to do this masking stuff... and I was not connecting the dots... and than POW! Surprise! It all makes sense and what a nice feeling... All the ingredients ofr good advertising, totally focused in the idea, great execution, totally relevant to the target. I LOVE IT!

Re: Land Rover: Rediscover

Sorry, I don't think the idea is that great... I'm surprised that was actually short listed in Cannes... It is maybe just my opinion, but I dont even think that the pedal looks like a pedal. I used to own a LandRover, and it is all about the adventure... Sorry guys for my negativity... As a possible target, this banner does not talk to me. At all. :( It would help if the pedal actually looked like a pedal.

Re: Crest Glide: Stuck

what website is that??? Is that the agency who did the banner? What? Ohhhh I got it. BAD PRACTICE!

Re: Tide: Messy Kid

I agreed with the missing mute button. Maybe that was the only thing that prevented it to win a Bronze in Cannes... This AD reminds me to NIVEA Ads. selling beauty products targeting 50 years old women using a hot model on the video that is 30... Basic rule man... I like the exaggeration on the video. Sorry again, I have to disagree with you. The music is catchy... I knew it was for that specific product before I even saw the brand, well, I knew that was about laundry detergent. and nothing else. So How can it be generic? Im not religious, and I hate politics... Sometimes, discussing advertising, could be worse than discussing politics or religion. I have one question, how many people got to see the AD in your office because of that bad song? I'll do it over again... :) - I would be curious for your comments on a video like this: http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Re: Tide: Messy Kid

Hi Alex, im sorry, I don't want you to hate me, but, C'mon. your comment was totally unnecessary. It was actually a shortlist in Cannes, to start with... Well, it is not bad at all...

I have nothing to do with the Saatchi & Saatchi, I know some people over there, but the reason I will try to defend this banner is very simple:

The banner is cute, after all, it is not irritating as you may think it is, and specially, it is right on the target. It is for moms... The kind of mom who hates that their kids makes a big mess, at the same time wishes their kids was just like the one on this video.

Moms are the decision makers at grocery stores... The perfect target for the product.

Not mentioning the surprising element, I love the "repeat all over again", it is a great idea, and I think it didn't get Cannes just because of the execution... It could be a little better executed.

10 for the creative, art direction and copy, 5 for the development/production. AND YES, it missed a mute button.

Re: TAC: Road

Nice banner, well done, good idea, very clean, right on the target, and the point! Great usage of Rich media expandable unit. The curve surprised me... and yeah, I have a car with traction control... it kick axx!

Re: Marines: Day at the Beach

wow... It has a great art direction... I don't really love the copy, I can see why it didn't made Cannes... I love the fonts, effects, very very nice production.... The 'cause', and the creative... really bothers me. In other words, the copy should say: Hey Stupid, come here, lets have fun killing some people, also, you have your chance to die... how about that? hum? lets die on the beach? hum? rollover... it is like a video game... but you can really kill and die.

Sorry guys, I hate the war... I know that is about defense... but still. PEACE!

Re: Mentos: Kiss Clock

exactly!!! hehehe

Re: iPath: Origami Eagle

I got a hard time to understand it, dahhhh... Ok, the idea is very simple, the execution is millionaire, and to be honest, I would expect something a little better developed, in my opinion a good idea should shine somehow, no matter how good or bad the execution was . Im trying to think in something to say that could be constructive, but I can't think in anything. Sorry... Maybe origami made with money... ok that is a bad idea. Check this out: http://www.ipathetn.com/lp/...

Re: Mentos: Kiss Clock

Love, love love... All you need is love... PAN PANNA NA NA (Sorry it is hard to write that sound). I love the execution... My favorite is the sound of kisses doing tic-tac... Totally on the target, very simple.... LOVE, love love.... Everybody!

Re: Poliflor: Turntable

Ooooops, for my last comment... Pinocchio was GOLD in Cannes not Bronze! :)

Re: Nissin Lamen Noodles: Hotter

I think it was almost good... It was a little pornographic... not sexy, actually, sexuality is not relevant for this product. What really disturbed me, was the thermometer in reversed position, at first I waited for some surprise reserved for the end, but no, it was a mistake... The payoff was disappointing. Good "Flash" execution, except for the thermometer of course. :)

Re: The Katrina Foundation: Helicopter

It is definitely a great observation, especially since that was all we saw on TV during the disaster... The ladder was supposed to be the click... "PLEASE HELP US" in this banner was the call to action, since the only thing you can possibly do, is to click... I think it was not necessary to say "CLICK HERE" , I'm sure the A.E. wouldn't agree. ;)

Re: Poliflor: Turntable

Great idea... it is the 2nd banner for Poliflor that gets a bronze in Cannes!
Remember, Pinochio!
