HEVC export is not available in the export options in the 2023 version... even though hevc codecs are installed on PC. This is a known issue with cracked premiere. Any idea if this could be "fixed"?

I use Bring! app with Google home/assistant. You don't have to stick to Keep for the shopping list feature.

I'm surprised no one mentions Xpenology. I have it running on a Dell Optiplex 3050 (Mid Tower). It can easily fit four 3.5" HDDs and a SSD + m.2. It's much cheaper & more powerful than a Synology NAS. Only downside is that it relies on community support. So you're not always running the latest versions of Synology Diskstation. IMO it's worth it.

Yes, Synology Moments. It has built in AI & face recognition features, much like or even better than Google Photos. I have multiple phones setup to backup photos everyday to Moments.

What I did is transform a Dell Optiplex pc with decent specs into a Synology NAS (via Xpenology <- Google it). Best solution & no reliance on companies with changing decisions!

Deleting whatsapp proved easier than what I thought. Most people don't mind downloading another messaging app if they see few of their contacts completely deleting their whatsapp accounts.

No headphone jack, 1080p screen, no sd card support, no 25W charger? ... Yay let's be thrilled at these "upgraded" phones. Since when was the removal ofexpandable storage a good reason for lowered price? Seriously this is a slap to consumers faces. If people keep accepting low standards, companies will keep ridiculing us under the pretext of "lowering prices".

Unpopular opinion : I had an S3 & later S4 and ended up selling them. Software support is lackluster, and they are overpriced if buying them mainly for media consumption.

Eventually I bought a mediapad m5 with 10.8 inch screen at around 300$. Sure not the fastest & most powerful tablet, but it's great for media consumption & more than enough for casual gaming.

Only issue is that Huwawei is not in a great position in the US.

I agree that iPad pricing & hardwar, is a no brainer, but I'd choose android over iOS every time. I've used an iPad, and the software is far inferior. They made some changes but it's still far behind. For me, I want flexibility. I want to install custom apps. I want to block ads. I WANT YOUTUBE VANCED! This is not possible on iOS.

I already use the assistant to start the Roborock S5. It's faster & easier than opening the Mi Home app to do that.

I got the dark theme! Here's how: I installed the above apk but that didn't do anything. Later I joined the beta program of the app (from Play Store) and went back to the main page and then to the app page again. It showed that there's an update for the app. Once I updated it immediately showed me the dark mode option. Note that the app although got updated from play store, it's still on the same version.
