You had mentioned about the low initiatives in the Purandaradasa krithis. It would be really nice if a festival like the Kuthira Malika festival was done for the propagation of Dasa padas. Or are there any festivals like this already happening ?

On a slightly different note, the compositions of the Maharaja of Mysore Shri Jayachamaraja Wodeyar is another case in point. Barring a few exceptions, most of his songs are yet to be popularized on the concert platform despite their brilliance.

Really liked your straight-forward replies on advice for beginners etc without being laced with technical jargon or abstract flowery niceties :-).

Hi Sanjay,

In your discussion with Charubala, you were mentioning that many production houses were not into producing Carnatic music around the year 2000. I remember a label called Sony Naad that used to produce some good quality recordings as well. Is this production house still around ?
