I had an '07 EX-L and put 85K on before trading it in for '14 EX-L. I had zero problems with it.

If you look at the customer complaints sent to the NHTSA (http://www.edmunds.com/auto..., 2nd Gen (and Acura models with the same drive train) had serious issues with the transmission. And they were fixed in the 3rd Odyssey that came out in 2005.

I empathize with you for the drivetrain issues that you had a decade ago. The problem you had was real and wide spread. It was also addressed in the platform change in 2005.

Re: 2014 Minivan Comparison Test

If you can't get comparable trim levels, then you wait until you can get the right vehicles. Anything else is just sloppy work. This is the first review that I have read from your site and it will probably be the last if this is how you do one. You have to ask yourself, which is more important; doing the review now or doing it later with vehicles that were more or less comparable?

Re: Google Glass smells bad

There are some really good use cases for Google Glass, like a surgeon accessing information in the middle of a procedure. I would imagine that Verizon is stretched pretty thing now to meet fiber deployments for the existing franchise agreements. It would be cool to see Google wire up a few more cities, but it takes a lot resources to run fiber across multiple towns at the same time. Right, my town is just one of the few towns in this area that has a choice for cable and broadband Internet.

In my town, TWC made the decision not to compete with VZ FiOS on broadband speed and TV quality. For a few months, I would watch the FiOS truck wire up houses in my neighborhood. And then a week later, a TWC truck would pull up and terminate the cable at the street.

Re: Nokia Lumia 920 for AT&T hands-on: a Windows Phone 8 flagship with PureView imaging and LTE (video)

Unless they don't have the CDMA version ready. Then going with AT&T first is more of a PR thing than anything else.

Re: Nokia Lumia 920 for AT&T hands-on: a Windows Phone 8 flagship with PureView imaging and LTE (video)

I was really hoping to see this on Verizon Wireless next month. Giving the #2 carrier an exclusive on the flagship phone is a really poor business decision. By the time VZW gets the 920, HTC would have had the opportunity to sell their own flagship WP8 device on VZW.
