The problem is that Harris has no foreign policy. She will be briefed by our foreign policy advisors, the CIA. When Biden boxed himself in to a woman VP, who will probably be President in 4 years, max, there was no one available with any foreign policy knowledge except the horrible Rice! The MIC/CIA have complete control of our foreign policy.

Trump's foreign policy primarily comes from Netanyahu to Kushner.

Michael Moore has done perfectly what he does best; give an electric shock to a half-dead body. Those opposed will fall into one of two categories: those blinded by false promises that fulfill their wishful thinking, and those who this masterpiece is talking about as the profiteers.

The Club Of Rome, in their brilliant 1968 book predicted all of this and it has come to pass. 1968 was 50+ years ago, half a century when the world population was half of what it is today. If you have ever looked at a graph on a time-oriented problem, there is a point where the time has run out. We are past that time and even Moore and Gibbs can't promote a REALISTIC possibility.

Often, the result of an insuperable societal problem is the installation of a fascist government. Or if you think that Joe Biden will embrace the revolution, lots of luck. There are answers, but only a dictator could even think of imposing them and the only one in sight is too busy looking at his mirror and his bank account.

There were 2 candidates to head the DNC. One was supported by Sanders. Hillary's was her marionette, Tom Perez.

Gabbard is the only person running with both a foreign AND clear domestic policies. She's not only bright and dedicated, she thinks independently. She'd make a great President.

But get it clear. She was the Vice Chairman of the DNC. From her inside view she understood what was going on with the DNC in the last election. It was taking corrupt measures fomented by Hillary to defeat Senator Sanders by the DNC, not by voting Democrats. So she resigned her position to support Sanders and honesty.

Hillary never forgave her for that and Hillary through her choice for the head of the DNC, Perez, still has absolute control of the DNC.

Hillary, with the help of a couple of billionaires, Adriana Getty & Barry Dillard, have acquired a major role in the New York Times. Guess who has been absolutely blackballed by America's most influential medium. Surprise! Tulsi Gabbard.

I've always voted Democrat. Knowing what went on last time what Hillary pulled off in the DNC, I voted Green. I'll probably do the same this time, because the witch in charge has undermined Tulsi and will probably try to do the same with Bernie. Note that the NYT has a reporter in charge of following Sanders' campaign. From the beginning, she has, at best, damned him with faint praise!

Many of us won't vote Democrat (again) if this goes on until the election.

I'm curious about what law allows this sick administration to create such a widespread law against a non-belligerent nation against which we are not at war. Can a president just say anything he wants and have it enforced? It seems to me that that's what dictators and fascist nations do.

It is difficult to believe the level of misunderstanding of this article. Trump has no policy toward Iran or much of anywhere else. His policy is what Bolton tells him it is, what Pompeo tels him it is, what the CIA tells him it is. He listens and adds his style to it which is pure Scientology training.

About real estate he can tell Bolton and the other war hungry monsters, but not the other way around. It's been a long time since Presidents have a foreign policy idea. Their source of information does not drop out of the sky. The last person who got that was Mohammed. Over the last 30/50 years the source of foreign policy info has been the CIA. They whisper their plans into presidential ears and have promoted every loss America has had from Korea to Venezuela.

It's time to wake up!

The Hill is one of the most important political dailies in the media. The kids who've written below should take note that when 99% of The Hill's commentors had nothing to say beyond Hillary is crooked and Trump is an idiot (both of which are true) The Hill just finally stopped public comments - which is sad. Wait until you can find a real comment or grow up to avoid ABC shutting you down.

Look at it this way: The MIC has replaced the government. The CIA is their voice and their "enforcer". The FBI lost out to the CIA, but still has a role in domestic affairs, like the attempt to dispose of the man who is a renegade and like Saddam & Qaddafi, a stupid bit of garbage that got into their machine and whose ego makes him think he can outfox everyone on the planet.

The process of taking over the government, doing battle with the world to acquire all of its wealth has been hard and very expensive since 1949.

If the public knew what was going on, what it cost, and who was pocketing the money it could never have happened.

So now that "Deep State" controls and those for whom we voted are just shadow boxing, why wouldn't they want to legalize hiding where the money comes from and where it goes? Do you think the mafia keeps its books open?

Why wasn't it mentioned that Gertrude Stein wrote a mystery, also: Blood on the Dining Room Floor. It's as unusual as much of her other work and well worth the read. I found it back in the Eighties.

Several Nobel Prize winners known for their serious literary fiction have done a crime subject or two, people like Selma Lagerlöf, Heinrich Boll and even Saul Bellow back when an American writer could find an agent and publisher even if their work roamed through diverse subjects instead of being locked to a genre.

In fact there a many foreign writers of serious literary fiction who wrote a mystery or detective or thriller work in among other subjects. I once made a long list of them, read 6 or 8 and discovered that the quality of the writing and imagination was perfectly in keeping with the authors' other works. It's hard to do today. I'd like to hear a real discussion of the subject.

Despite his vast incompetence and ignorance Trump has made a good point or 2 so far.

The media listed 9 people who's reason to have top security clearance is being investigated. The group was headed by Clapper. For those with short memories, this group were Hillary's handlers, and Obama's, when the were made candidates in 2007 and when they became POTUS and SCOTUS as total neophytes in world affairs. They have been a gathering storm for 50 years.

This is the group that set the Middle East afire beyond the Bush oil & drug ventures. Brennan and Clapper, Comey and the others had planned for Hillary to become President to continue their control of the administration, not the incoherent, uncontrollable clod Trump. Everybody in Washington knew that. So when she lost, they lost.

The group regrouped as business people, advising on Boards of Directors for incredible salaries, becoming the go-to "experts" for TV for fat fees. They did it, in part, because they still had total access to the top secrets as well as due to their neocon background memories.

America should be glad they are starting to be gone. They were a misery of liars who devastated our economy, focused on wars, Killed our soldiers, killed & refugeed millions, etc. and destroyed our hopes of democracy.
