Woooooooooooooooow so first and foremost, SHEfinds spends the
majority of this article talking about how terrible guys are and they
continue with posting the article anyway. And I quote: ”... the
opinions expressed by chauvinists in this article do not represent those
of SHEfinds.” If that’s the case, why are you blaming rompers and wedge
sandals on the singledom of some women? Because from what I understand
as a woman, when someone says, “So-and-so said you look ugly in that,
but I like it a lot!” no one hangs on to the “I like it a lot”.

You can wear the sexiest dress in the world and someone is still
going to say, “Red just isn’t your color” (oh YEAH WANNA FIGHT?). You
can’t please everyone and you shouldn’t try.

I am so disappointed in articles where women’s nail polish, outfit,
and lipstick choices are frowned up because some idiotic dude decided
that he gets to say what women should and shouldn’t wear. The only time a
person, especially men in this case, should comment on what you’re
wearing is when they like it.

You should remove this post, it's literally the absolute worst.

It's Pure Ice "free spirit" (on the left in the pic) that I got from Walmart but I've definitely seen, I think, Sally Hansen brand with the same/similar color at walgreens/target.

I totally agree re: quality but I switch suits every year so, in this case, not as concerned with this piece as I would be with other garments...even though I still think J.Crew is WAY overpriced and too expensive for this thrifty spender!

I would not use that recipe again. It tastes pretty good but it is way too thick to properly cover the bottom of the pan and the top of the snickers. Really needs to be just a little thicker than cake batter so it spreads easily. I poured half the batter on the bottom of a cake pan, cut up 8 pb snickers squares and placed them in a single layer on top of the batter then put the rest of the batter on top of the snickers, covering completely. I crushed up some pretzels, pushed them gently on top of the brownie and baked everything for the recommended amount of time. Pretty simple, just adding compontents to a good brownie recipe really.

Remove the word anonymous from this sentence and you have basically the sort of relationship I have with my "father". That man is a piece of garbage and if I could trade him for a second mother similar to my own, I would in a heartbeat. I have healthy relationships with men, I do not dwell on what could have been if he was in my life, and I do not take time out of my day to worry if I was "damaged" without him. "Men and women are not interchangeable", you may be right (although I do find this to be irelevent) but as long as people are loved and cared for, what is in their pants DOES NOT MATTER. What works for you might not work for others and that's fine but if it doesn't effect you what decisions other families make, move on. It's none of your business and let it be.

I've lived in the midwest my entire life and I guess you just kind of deal with it? I do wear knee high boots most days with sweater tights or two pairs of tights or with knee high socks under the boots. The goal is to cover as much skin as possible with more than just tights (ie the boots + socks).

I am very into "gifts only for the children" and no one is ready to give up their own gifts yet. Next year, I hope.

I had a very dear friend who lived in that area at Chicago and Damen, right above the High Dive. I was hoping to convince my roommate to move down around that area next year but I don't think he'll bite.

Haha, if I was 8 I'd definitely wear them proudly with a skirt or dress but for now, I stuff them under jeans and wear boots over them. It's like wearing sexy lingere but the total opposite in that you know you have it on but no one else does and this is more likely to make you feel childish.

Haha, the funniest part of you commenting on this particular entry after being directed here from RBNS is that I tagged (and I know you can't see them) the post "Is this too Julia Allison?". It's so cheesy but so nice to feel that way, sort of like coming into your own. Another good thing about writing this cheesy stuff on a blog? You have to hold yourself a little bit accountable to keep behaving that way, happy and positive.
