I'm just a newbie blogger who follows your content on Twitter. I must say, you do share good content there. I really enjoy the tweets. I also think giving away advertising credits is a great way to get new sponsors on board. I will be sure to share this blog post.

Re: 11 Colorful Droplets Captured In High Speed

Absolutely amazing pictures! There are some tweeps that may have gotten into a 'new business venture' after I started following them. Like you said, if they are super spammy, then I just unfollow. Using groups and lists within Twitter applications (Tweetdeck, Seesmic, Hootsuite, and others) is the best way to manage connections. I find many people use Twitter, but have not learned how to manage connections. Once you are following 1000+ people, you have to filter information so that its relevant to you. On the other hand, I have started receiving spam as @replies. That's really annoying because those are unsolicited and you can't simply delete them like a DM. Knowing that, I just skip right over them. I received about 15 @reply spam messages on Wednesday.

Re: Why the Wrong People Get Laid Off — And How to Prevent It - Red Canary

Wow. What an interesting perspective. I thought companies trended towards eliminating positions based on cost. In this case the employee did everything right and seemed to be penalized. My next thought is how does one recover from a situation like this. How do you explain in the next interview that you were laid off because you're a good worker. I totally agree the wrong person was let go here.

Re: Don’t Get Angry Because They Don’t Understand

I agree w/ your point that people want to understand--but sometimes we just don't explain the point correctly. I can definitely relate to this as a parent of a 'tween'. This is a really good article.
