I visited the DOE in Washington regarding EERE funding also. Once. Unlike Mr. Kaiser, who visited Washington 17 times, my firm was told it is illegal to see Mr. Chu OR the Finance Committee. We asked for $500,000,000 to raise funds for a wind energy R&BD patent technology concern that rivals nuclear. WE were ignored -- and Mr. Kaiser received 17 appointment dates -- TO TALK ABOUT WHAT?????????? This loan was criminal.

I hate it when NORML members want to sell prescription narcotics on the streets. Garland group wants to put people not in the NORML organization in jail. Not everyone likes them. Hash fans. Why insist on processing pot into hash when they have limited local immunity???? Some people just like to break rules because it is a defect of their basic personality. They need a script so you make it legal for them -- only to find they now want to make hash. I don't want or need that kind of org.

This strategy to create a massive production center with cheap labor must be fueled by an energy source. Who will be the massive production center's consumer of output? The US can no longer afford to lead in consumption. It will have to be internal.
Can you imagine the air and water pollution in a city this size? Living and breathing in Beijing is the equivalent of smoking 70 cigarettes per day and only a portion of this super-sized city!

As an academically trained expert on terrorism I can tell you that Prop 19 was a turning point for life in California. Arguments contending marijuana is a huge taxation source and legalization will keep the cartels from moving further north were called "weak". The stronger consensus came from the fact that the public disagreed with a law and tried to change it through the voting institutions. The procedure of bill passage failed,laying further groundwork for life outside the auspices of the formal institutions to continue and flourish as illegal. That is a recipe for terror throughout all of Latin drug history with the State! That mass of public opinion did not go away. They are now a "resistance" to U.S. law, an insurgency with a belief they want the system to absorb and reflect. The system failed yet the proponents' interests remain. The best argument for legalization will likely be to stop violence associated with marijuana importation after a period of "violencia".

This platform now too closely resembles the Nicaraguan Resistance, or Contra Rebels. They weren't "terrorists" but were merely the "Resistance". Now the same story seems to grow on U.S. soil.

I assume the ballots could be trusted.
