Wow cool free ESPN Monday Night Football can be had for free too just like the blacked out TV games. Yes god bless the Internet but all the web sites that give us things like this and other good web sites too might soon not be accessible if net neutrality fails in Congress. Youtube has a lot of good, short information videos on the subject of 'net neutrality.'

I imagine some people left comments that portrayed Gambale as being a floozy, or worse. Considering the bar is Stingaree's, they might, or might not, have a point. I won't argue that point, no, in fact I'm glad Gambale and her husband were there that night defending the rights of a older American's who want to dance late at night to a rockin' sound system in a San Diego nightclub. Good for them. But imagine, if you would, that the accident took place in front of Las Pulgas on Revolucion Avenue. Those of us who know the LP environment would NEVER belittle a much older man or a much older woman for being out at 2 AM. No way. And lest you think it's a Mexican thing...or lest you think that Mexican's have more respect for elders, that I would not be sure of as young Mexican's have their elder-free clubs where older people are not wanted there just like some of the elder-free American clubs that permeate America. I guess Las Pulgas is a little treasure, or a diamond in the rough. Don't know how it is in Brazil. I would hope nightclubs in other countries are nicer to elders than American's are.

Look at all the motocross riders over the years who have been caught cheating using steroids. One rider? Two riders? How many?

None that I can think of.

But why? Because superior physical strength is a non-factor in a sport like motocross. Ditto for sports like golf and NASCAR racing. (Not that I think golf is a sport, I don't, IMO it's more of a recreational activity.)

Hey did you hear.... rampant steroid abuse is proliferating the sport of motocross just like it is in the summer Olympic games. Check out James Stewart. When his back is turned people mistake him for Barry Bonds. And then there's the sports legendary figure, one Ricky Carmicheal. Yep, muscle-wise old Ricky is every bit as muscular a hulk as Jose Canseco ever was. Maybe Greg Anderson is supplying James Stewart with Human Growth Hormone lol. (Anderson is Bonds' shoe-shine boy and the biggest brown-noser in sports history - he procured HGH for Bond's).

Don't get me wrong, I like motocross. Motocross is an enjoyable sport to watch and participate in. Professional riders are extremely talented. When the gate drops the race to the first turn is a rush for many including me. It's exciting when two front runners battle it out. And if five riders are capable of fighting it out and winning any one race then 2011 should be a good season for race fans. Good sport, great sport. (Though I wish they'd bring two-stroke engines back from the dead).

Who believes in karma? Not me, karma's a bunch of baloney (but I do believe in The Curse). Nevertheless I hope the Aztec fans who cut in line get what they deserve. So with that here's hoping the Aztecs and their rotten fans go down in defeat (add the fact that a student was stabbed to death on campus in 2008 by other SDSU students including the son of Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez - and lets not forget the big DEA bust that took place in some of the fraternity dormitories). A loss to BYU will be sweet, sweet justice (losing that top gun football coach who moved on to another college was sweet justice). And the continuing saga of the San Diego Curse. Lose Aztecs, lose and go BYU !!!!

I read the above comment. And then I rated it for hotness. I gave it a zero for clueless.

Whether you know it or not people - that would be me and the reader - rate things many times a day over and over again. Sometimes me, you, and all of us automatically rate things hundreds or thousands of times a day. Yep, that's right. Thousands of times a day. A person might start the day by waking up to a radio station that is triggered to go off by an alarm clock. That person, upon awakening to a song that was playing, might reach over to turn change stations. Because they did not like the song that was playing. They hated the song. Maybe they didn't assign the bad sounding song a low number, say like a number 2 on a 1 to 10 scale, literally speaking. But figuartively they did. Figuratively it was a 1 or a 2. To that person it was a butt ugly song. And then they moved on to eating breakfast where they intuitively assigned a ranking to the fast food they just swallowed. Or tried to swallow. That's how life is. We continually rate things on a daily basis, sometimes minute to minute, sometimes second to second. Ditto for people. We're constantly ranking the way they look and act. We'll be rating things right up until your last second on earth.

I'm aware of HotOrNot. Not only am I aware of it I'm one of millions of people from around the world who submitted my picture to be rated by the general public. And if you don't it could be because you're afraid to find out what your rating would be. Or it could be because you're not photogenic. Or because you're not attractive.

Unconditional love for a person you don't know is asinine. Just as asinine as unconditional hate. There's zero difference between the two. Just like the zero rating I gave the dumb comment in quotation marks up above.

The writer of this story failed to mention that the organizers failed to launch a website dedicated to this event. Intelligent people know the many downsides (lots !!!) to not having a website that represents whatever product you're trying to sell.

Once again we see a side of Mexico that when it comes to technology is oddly stuck in 1965 mode (VERY odd when you consider the original Comic-Con is a high tech event) and we see a UT writer who had a quinessential Shally Zomorodi moment.

Don't know how much revenue this event brought in but had the organizers built a website they would have profited substantially more money. And if they did build one, which I don't think they did, then they don't know diddly squat about the importance of key words, meta tags, etc.
