so freaking true-u know that every baddy is basicaly a throwaway character-i.e after several chapters-they're dead (but not after much macho banter b/t said baddy and some good guy who has some similarity to the baddy

can u guys help? i'm actualy trying to buy a manga (amazing i know) but i cant seem to find it anywhere-its called Jouou -its about a girl who b/c of money problems has to become a hostess. also i'm trying to buy the third season to the anime 'condor hero' but i cant seem to find it newhere (tried amazon-but its confuding). i'm only asking b/c i've seen ppl. do that here b/f. n also-if i cnt ask u guys- who can i ask :D

holy cra1! you beat me to it! i'vew been holding back reading it so i could read a whole buch of chapters in one go.
also- if ne spectrum admins r reading this- i've already read this manga but i think the spectrum shoulkd have it ( the spectrum seems to have 'special' mangas as in mangas that ... well whatever) it called 'lonw wolf and cub' it seems to have had a great influence on many other mangs of the same genre (action, martial arts, historical) and it gives a very good view into the japanese code of 'bushido' and what it means to be a man

if ur looking for something to quickly get interested in- then eden is a better choice-monster is mostly psychological so alot of the fun is the mystery and the suprises that appear (meaning, it'll take a good while before you understand enough of the story for something to be suprising in the first place). Eden also takes a while to get moving, but once it does... man... its...its real good

i dont know man... i absolutely love the detail thats put into gantz and berserk, but i'd much rather see those pages used to get the story moving than for several double paged pictures of a scene

i read bleach from time to time, and sometimes like it (like when ichigo was first learning how to transform) but averal, the mangak's technique...well...sucks. like how he relies on "big explosions" to keep the reader interested-e.g when the good guy is about to lose all of a sudden he lets loose a power the reader has never seen b/f -and w/ a witty line- defeats the bad guy like in chap 258 and chap 259 and chap... ah its taking to long to look for all the fights- or how he makes every fight a 1-1 and its always b/t 2 similar ppl. (like in chap 258 and 259 and that good guy dude w/ the arrows vs. that robot looking evil scientist captain. and the evil scientist captain vs. that evil scientist hollow and... you get the pt.) once is fun twice is a little expected... but he does it again and again aFREAKINgain!...just ranting

ah man- i hate live versions of the manga-the movies never manage to capture the mangas intensity/plot/impact etc. plus, while the characters in the manga have a semi "otherworldly" presence- live actors make them so much more mundane even irritating (especialy since most actors, when not acting, come across as more irritating than ur average person (unless you tend to idolize them-and thats your choice))

Alright dudes and dudettes- speculation time! know that guy that sasuke is fighting (forgot his name) what do u think his powers are? i was thinking that each eye allows for him to either A) change something that happened a moment ago or B) give him another life. i think its more likely that its A) because there was one time where an eye was used w/o him getting killed. furthermore, he keeps re-appering in a diff spot than he was b/f . what do u think?

also- do u think it'll turn out that he's somewhat good or will the manga bring up more reasons to hate him? personaly, i'm starting to think that he may not just be the power hungry despot we were made to believe (he tells sasuke that he (sasuke) is making his brothers' sacrifice (to kill out the uchiha) in vain/ that is , go to waste)

finaly, hows my font? any gals complementing it will be hugged, and any guys will be given a purely platonic handshake... at arms length (granted my font's no diff than anyone elses (*mmm-how poetic-"deep down we all have the same font"-you can quote me on that :p) but a pickupme (:p) is always appreciated)
