I am about to enter a new era/phase in my life, entering a PhD program. I have been tempted to either delete my FB or go through the laborious process of deleting certain status updates -- the ones that reveal a little too much of my giddy, frivolous nature. You know, the ones that DON'T LOOK LIKE A SERIOUS PHD student. Your post made me realize -- I yam who I yam. And if I try to be someone else now that I'm a "PhD student" -- then how successful will THAT be? Every evidence I have from life so far is that I need to be MORE of what I am. Not less. Thank you.</p>
