It seems like there are a few "subgroups" of white ppl, tho. You got the ones who wear their prejudice and bigotry like a badge of honor... all I can say bout them is that at least you know where they stand. You got the ones who know they have prejudices, feel guilty about that shit and try to overcompensate...but down deep, just wish folks would give 'em a pass. Afterall, that slavery business was ages ago.... they don't see how it still hurts and impacts our society to this day. They just want somebody to absolve them. You got the ones that honestly think they aren't racist, but are and just too simple to see it...they can mess shit up without even trying, and be shocked when you tell 'em about themselves. Then you got the bigot who knows that if he wants to manipulate/politic/do business in a certain arena, he's gotta hide that shit... that's the most dangerous one. And a very, very, very few who really might not be racist.....(much).</p><p>But still, it looks to me like that apology is just a bunch of white ppl saying "Mea culpa! Now drop it already...." White ppl do stupid shit all the time, but this takes the cake. How is this supposed to make up for anything?
