This is so true. How many of you sometimes wade into rightwing site comments? I do, occasionally, taking a deep cleansing breath first, knowing what I'll see. So often they're celebrating that such and such a development is going to make liberals' heads explode and that alone is worth it! How is that worth much for your side in the end?

Sure, I'll admit I'm fascinated by her as a cultural phenomenon. She's crafty, knows just how to get media attention, and with the media it's definitely a co-dependent dynamic.

But back to the vulgarity: How do her Christian fans tolerate the dick jokes, the brawl and the language we hear from her children, her own teenage slut costumes. In Karl Rove parlance, "I am not certain how that fits in the American calculus of 'that helps me see you in the Oval Office.'"

I know! I guess conservatives are stuck in the Cold War? Can't think what else it is. I don't know how many times I've read about Palin and others claiming that service members in Iraq and Afghanistan are protecting Americans' freedom of speech. I even heard a Fox News blonde claim one time that soldiers in Iraq were protecting our right to vote.

I don't get why this should be political at all! Why do we have to line up by tribe on the issue of standing on a doggie! Why does it have to be the conservative position that it's perfectly fine (even firebrand-y and freedom-loving!) to ask the kid to stay right there on the creature's back while we get another cute angle on the scene?

Wait, let me get this straight... tell me if I missed something. Isn't the cops' main current problem with DeBlasio his comments about having to teach his son how to behave while Black when he's around the police? Is that it? That's just being a good, realistic parent to a young A-A man. Pretty much accepted you have to do it. They're saying you must not talk about it?

I'm almost a month behind here, so don't know if you will see this. Question. I followed the directions. Was able to get my post to display at http://trynewfeatures.small...

Then I routed the same post to the Wordpress http://testionomy.wordpress...

After I do that, when I press the eye-con it opens the WordPress version. I looked at the post's attributes and its type had changed to metaWeblogPost.

What would be the best way to maintain both, if you wanted to do that? Manually edit the type when I switch back and forth? Assuming you can only have one type at a time? Duplicate posts for each, maybe. Dunno.
