Sounds great. I found Sunshine to feel a bit 'recycled'... seemed like they were beating the dead corpse of Mario 64 a bit too much. I'm all for feeling familiarity and attachment for a certain level, but I like it when the player is allowed to make that choice, rather than it being forced.

Wow. I never played through Prime because I hated the lack of a "mouselook" emulating feature. I'll definitely try out this Wiimake.

No knowledge of Xbox Media Center vs. HD Tivo, but AppleTV's only purpose is to let you stream iTunes content to your TV... great if you buy stuff through iTunes, worthless otherwise.

Pretty impressive trailer... I like the fact that it looks much more fast paced than other tower defense games. Plus the art is rad. I'll have to try it out when I get home from work =]

I finally recovered my Disqus password, so your blog gets some comments.

The reason why I'm not really jumping over e-readers right now is book price. I'm reading "Watership Down" with the wife; when her water broke and we went to the hospital, I forgot the book. I took my iPod though, and so I figured I'd just download a copy via iBooks (or whatever Apple calls it). Much to my chagrin, a copy cost $15! I bought my dead tree version for like $2 at a library book sale. I guess this means that I'll be pirating books when I finally get a e-reading device with a larger screen.

On a side note, I'd really be interested in any advice you might have regarding juggling a day job with part-time game development (if that's ever been a situation you've found yourself in).

Hey, I hate artificial markup as much as the next guy, but no one is getting rich off $0.99 iPhone games. Those prices are artificially low, so I wouldn't use them as a guideline for what a game is actually worth.

Yeah, the sad thing is that even though of course I own the original cartridges, the SNES version of All-Stars, and Virtual Console versions of these games, I still want it.

I can't offer any sort of intelligent comment regarding the two pizza joints you mentioned, but I would recommend this recipe for homemade deep dish: http://www.cooksillustrated... (They make you do a "trial membership", which is annoying, but have some great recipes.)
