One small nitpick, it appears to not preserve the file timestamp after the restore. If I restore using the new client, the timestamp on the restored file is the time of the restore. If I do it with the old web ZIP method, it has the original file timestamp.

Re: New Backblaze Security Features

The issue with SMS isn't so much direct interception (it's encrypted over-the-air), but rather having your phone number taken over. It's fairly easily to have your phone number moved to a new SIM card just by calling the cell provider's customer service and providing details such as name, address, and SSN (especially since the recent Equifax breach and other prior similar breaches). If your cell phone ever suddenly stops working, it's a good idea to call your carrier immediately.

Re: How to easily switch audio languages in XBMC

Oops, you're right. Fixed.

Re: Tech uses thermal imaging to scan for drunks

I'm sure there was no shortage of volunteers for the study :-)

Re: Pizza vending machines coming to the U.S.

We're in trouble if the Mr. Pizza's become self-aware...Best to not let them stock their own toppings...

Re: foursquare is joining the OpenStreetMap movement! I'll stick with backing up my Gmail locally, though, I don't see the need to trust a company I don't know with all of my e-mail (yes, I obviously had to trust Google, but the more copies of the data that exist out there, the more likely it could be compromised). I'll use your service to back up public cloud data like Twitter, though.

Re: Remove the Ping buttons and sidebar from iTunes 10.0.1 on Windows

Yeah, I noticed that it doesn't seem to be possible to completely eradicate the toolbar, but at least after doing the steps and closing the toolbar it doesn't pop back up automatically anymore.

Re: Think Tank Photo Shape Shifter Giveaway

Computers, listening to music, video games.

Re: Google Enables Multiple Account Sign-In

It's not enabled on my account yet.

Is this going to (or does it already) allow integration with Google Apps (custom domain) accounts?
