Unfortunately sweetness Polaroid stopped making film for Polaroid cameras. It's kind of ironic really since they now make digital cameras and memory cards. But I suppose polaroids could be fun....good luck with your quest there dude.

I think we are all excited to see change on the horizon. It's something this country needs more than anything. Speaking as one of the 10 million currently unemployed in this country, Obama has given me hope I haven't had in a very long time. At least 8 years anyway.

Unfortunately LED lights don't like camera flashes so the pics I have don't show the guitars lighting up at the Northstar bar. But it was wicked cool. I especially loved how all the lights were out but between the guitars and the camera flashes you guys were just as well lit as though the lights were on...

Funny thing, last time I was in NYC for a show, I drove up from B-More to see and photograph The Friday Night Boys and it was during the CMJ festival and it was at The Knitting Factory and there you were, passing out shots if I remember correctly (the whole weekend is a tad fuzzy). And if I actually LIVED in NYC I would be at that show tomorrow HOWEVER I live closer to DC so I went last night :-) But my girls Candace and Bridget will be there so pass them a shot from me...

Those pics are impressive quality and all that photography stuff...who took them?

My family does holiday like no other. We just really enjoy any excuse to throw a party and there is always more food than any of us could consume but we wouldn't have it any other way. There's games, gambling, sometimes karaoke, always billiards, and well football and parades for the big turkey day. I bake like 19 desserts including the best apple pie ever and we feast. Do you do cook, Martin? What's your favorite food item on Thanksgiving?

I will try my best to stay computer free as long as texting my friends holiday wishes doesn't count.

That's pretty freaking funny. Sounds like something I would do, though I would probably just think they looked like someone and not say anything. I guess he was flying home from the AMA's. That must have been a crappy flight. Glad you're home safe, and that you accosted Akon in a public restroom. I think you need one of those big, intimidating security types, I think that would be entertaining. I also think having a personal assistant would be entertaining but I'm slightly nuts that way.

The tour was amazing. The only thing I wish is that I could have witnessed it more than once. You are intoxicating when you're on stage. It would be awesome if, as a photographer, I could photograph TAI one day. I've been to a ton of shows, more than I can ever count and I've probably gone to one a week for the last 6 months but this one is at the top of my list. It was worth getting squished by fangirls at the 930 Club in DC to witness it. Can't wait to do it again!

Butch Walker is plain and simple amazing and I kind of miss the Marvelous 3, I won't lie. The Friday Night Boys are awesome, I've done some photo work for them since I was going to be at their shows anyway I figured I might as well make myself useful. I drove up from Baltimore to see them at CMJ and it is there that they dragged me across town to Uncle Mike's to see the Dance Party, I think it's www.myspace.com/thedanceparty and since I was dancing around to them in my basement at 4 this morning I thought it might be worth you checking it out. I don't know how much they have on the myspace page but more of their stuff can be found through a google search or on itunes.

Hehe...I don't want to sound like too nutty of a fangirl but I freaking love you. And not like I love you and want to have your babies (I mean you're great and all but I'm happily married and I really only want to have my hubby's babies but I digress) but this freaking blog never fails to make me smile, 18.7% definitely, that shirt needs to exist for me. Crazy hacker boy needs to find something more worthwhile with which to occupy his time. Perhaps knitting or yoga so he can be more zen with the world.

Enjoy your turkey and while I was planning to be computer free tomorrow, I don't like gravy so that's not a good enough threat for me. gobble gobble and all that.

well....I say see Twilight. You might like it, you might not. They put more action in it than in the book. It's a love story in the books.....my husband went with me and he "didn't hate it" so maybe that will help you. I don't know.

This post doesn't count as my no computer time since I haven't actually gone to bed yet. But I already had a fun dinner with the fam tonight so I started early.

it's all about parades, dog shows, football and pregame/halftime shows from here on out.

I will have you know, love, that I did not cheat ONCE on my no internet plege for Thanksgiving. I play a wicked exciting game of Trivial Pursuit with the fam and checked in on my crazy friends who were camping out like the giddy fangrrls they are in NYC. I did not use the computer ONCE until I woke up this morning for the Black Friday shopping ritual. Boo ya.

What I wouldn't give to be in London right now, away from everything. I think I'm running away to NYC for a week on Monday. It's far enough away from Baltimore to be a get away I guess. Be safe in your travels.

Why do you have to go with a dude? I'm driving in to NYC Tuesday night in an effort to run away from the real world for a few days. While I'm there I'm going to the tree lighting because I'm crazy, going to see Twilight again on Thursday (If you're back, you should join us, you'll look more manly around girls), maybe possibly seeing All American Rejects on Friday (it's free yet confusing) but I know I can fit in a journey to see Spring Awakening with you if you'd really prefer not to go alone. It's my friend's birthday so she'd have to come too. Not sure how to actually convince you I am not nuts and/or a crazy fangirl type other than to tell you I'm 30 and happily married :-) I'm also an amazing photographer but I don't think that helps either. Um, but if you know Sam, the Friday Night Boys tour manager, he can vouch for me (though he'll probably tell you I'm a little crazy, but a little crazy is good). Ok, I'm going to stop rambling now. Enjoy London time.
