For me, LastPass also wins on Android. When I tried both a year ago, in order to fill passwords with 1Password you had to switch to the 1Password keyboard each time. I guess you could just keep their keyboard active all the time, but it's a pretty awful keyboard for daily use. LastPass can fill passwords in apps and the browser no matter which keyboard is active on your phone.

I've been a cord cutter since December 2015 when my last contract with Verizon FiOS expired. I renewed only the internet service, put up an HD antenna and never looked back.

I don't have any desire to communicate with someone who says things about "WTH" about my app choices. I have to use that particular app for work. Not having it makes my job much harder. I have good reasons for ever other app I like, some are personal, some are practical. I'm avoiding the questioning because of your tone/attitude. It's just a phone, dude.

You don't have to agree with me. Those were my reasons/apps and they were enough for me. I've got real work to do and don't have time to justify myself app by app.

For me, these apps were either not available or not functional enough compared to other platforms: MLB AtBat, Native GMail, Google Hangouts, American Airlines, Amazon Instant Video, Amazon Music, Sling, HBO Now, Cisco Jabber, MLB Ballpark, Alexa app, NPR News, Starbucks, even the Amazon store app is missing a lot compared to Android. The sum of these adds up to a big deal to me. I settled on the LG G5 for now. I got my wife the Galaxy S7. The cameras are both fantastic, they're fast, have great screens. Hers is waterproof, which she really wanted. Like I said, I think overall the OS is inferior, but as a whole smart phone experience, I'm happier.

I switched to Android last month also. I had been using Windows Phone since the pre-release Samsung Taylor WP7 device. I do miss the UI experience of the OS, but I doubt I will switch back. The apps are a big deal, as is flagship device choice.

I forgot to mention Edge. The browser king of unclickable links. I find myself re-opening sites in Opera Mini all the time because Edge either doesn't render them correctly or more often than not because I can't click on the links on the webpage displayed.
I'm also hoping bookmark management gets better and we get ad-blocking and/or extensions.

I'm pretty happy with my Windows Phone. Windows 10 still has some pretty significant issues in my opinion, however. I'm running the latest build on the Fast Ring, and these are my biggest problems:
1. Bluetooth. Listening to music/audible almost never resumes after a call or a text. Happens on 4 different BT devices.
2. The keyboard. Accuracy and prediction on Win10 are much worse than 8.1 and even WP7.
3. The messaging app still crashes all the time.
4. I still miss the Family Room.
5. The app gap is still there and very real. I was hoping UWP would help encourage companies to create apps for desktop/mobile. I haven't seen much of that yet.

I'm due for a new device this summer. At this point I'm not sure which platform I will choose. I want to believe...
