Love it to bits. I think its killer sexy! But I have never worn one during a performance. Thats not to say I never will, but chances are slim (unlike me!). One of the comments said to me, given that I am a plus sizer performer is "its not about what you look like, its about how you move". They like the way I move. They wouldnt if they saw me in a corset! I find corsets contrict and limit movement greatly and on stage is where I dont want limits! I want to move freely and and sensually. Now I'm not saying thats impossible in a corset - there are many performers who dance amazingly in corsets! But I dont intend to spend hours upon hours training myself to be able to dance in them. I want to dance as who I am. My costume to me, is an extension of my character, not what defines it, and so I dont want it defining my movements. Maybe its the bellydance side of me that wants the freedom? I also prefer to perform in flat shoes, or bare feet, or if heels then small heels. Oh and yes, I think high heels of the vintage stle are also killer sexy... for photo shoots! To me my dancing and character are what I want to be the sexiest part of my performance, not my appearance. </p>
