In the film, Guetta blatantly rips off the street artists he's shadowed, with very little variation. I don't think he really "came up" with anything moreso than you ask a child to draw something and they draw a squirrel, a flower, etc.

I did feel a bit like it was Banksy hosting a cinema circle jerk for the well known artists of the time, but it did make you think about how any of them could be doing the same thing "Mr. Brainwash" did and the general public wouldn't know. What is art, what is original? Who of us that practices an art doesn't mimic that which we've observed?

Mostly it just made me laugh, that's what I liked.

Dude you should clean in between every show :/ Not full clean but yea, you should at least red-rag it, that purple dust builds up quick and it's amazing what a completely clean projector will do in terms of a show. And clean with rubbing alcohol at the end of every evening. If you only show one show a night, my standards still apply.

Thanks. Though I'm not going to pretend he was perfect. He did and said a lot of really awful things to me, but I feel like if I'd had any prior experience in relationships, I wouldn't have been so hurt by everything and then maybe I would've known how to fix things. Hindsight is 20/20.

It's very scary to think that in the year and a half since I moved away, I haven't met anyone who makes me feel 0.0001% of what Jon did. I hope I don't still feel this way in 20 years. I often worry that I will settle because no one will ever feel perfect the way he did. Getting into the relationship with Jon was a no-brainer. I had no doubts. That is impossible to fathom for me. I feel like that may never happen again.

I'll check it out. If not for myself, then for my sister who is a complete math nerd who just sort of "gets" math. She's ridiculous.

I'm hoping that the math I take for a science degree will lead me to some at least basic understanding of fractals. I have The Fractal Geometry of Nature by Benoit B. Mandelbrot and have read it several, several times in the last 7 years, but still have no grasp on what it means. One day I think I'll read it again and it'll all fit together. I hope.
