I've had this issue on two bags, luckily LL Bean sticks to their warranty!

Re: http://jratlee.com/post/4641881340

Childish Gambino is the shit.

Re: Facebook: We Are Not Building a Phone

Interesting news. I enjoy how Android uses Facebook to pull in numbers and information and I'm surprised they've had no plans. I thought that increasing Facebook's mobile presence makes sense, I wonder what their plans will be. Maybe they are letting Google and Apple battle it out?

Re: Would You Ever Pay for Twitter? Probably not, but I would pay for additional metrics and I could be convinced to pay for a Twitter service that is dedicated to certain sectors.

Re: Facebook Introduces Community Pages

Am I overly cynical for thinking this is a nice April Fool's Day prank?

Re: Why Redbox New Release DVDs May Vanish from Kiosks

I'm not that surprised that Redbox used Target and Walmart to stock their shelves. I used to work for a Mom and Pop rental store (before the big boys like Blockbuster and Movie Gallery forced us out) and to save money, we would only buy one or two DVD's from the distributors. Then if the movie rented well over the week, we would stock up for the weekend. That way we'd save five to ten dollars a disc that Walmart can save by buying in bulk.

Hopefully Redbox can either make a few deals or find new ways of stocking their machines. If they go under, then the price of rentals is going to keep climbing as the major studios and retailers try to increase their revenues.

Re: The Worst Anti-Piracy Ad Ever?

I'm wondering, did they get permission for the dancing Klingons? I'm addicted...addicted to social media. I can't stop Tweeting. Eight tabs in Chrome are dedicated to Facebook friend lists, Firefox is open simply so I can read the latest post, and I have to rely on IE for work...and of course to check my latest Tumblarity number. Don't even get me started on Foursquare (I was recently named the mayor of my office and I got excited).Even when I go out I have to check my updates all the time, my friends think its really annoying.

See it all started about a year ago. I used to just dabble in Facebook and Blogger. Then Twitter. Then I got an internship at a social media agency and everything changed. I became addicted and got hired to work on social media full-time. The only thing is now I can't stop and I don't want to on most days.

Luckily you can help. I can't afford Internet rehab so I thought I could switch vices. It'd be great! You can help me go to Vegas for social media and I can try to start gambling. That way as I over-indulge on all the awesome bloggers, panels, and ideas, I'll have something else to fall back on. Sounds good doesn't it?

Only you can save me Mashable so please help me; you are my only hope!

Re: "I have 2,189 followers!"

I wonder if this conversation would even exists before Ashton Kutcher went after CNN. The important thing among most social media/PR people is engagement with your followers.

Personally, I hate the fact that I have a ton of followers who don't interact with me! If I were to start Twitter over again, I would be a lot more picky about who I listen to and who hears me speak.

Re: 15 Year Old Says Teens Are Abandoning Twitter: Where’s the Proof?

I think the main revelation here is the "mainstream" media's obsession with Twitter. Anytime a story can be found dealing with a large brand or event and Twitter someone will write a story about it. While this is great for Twitter I think that everyone needs to take a small step back and breathe.

Twitter is effective because it allows you to communicate with a small or large group of people. Are UK teens using it as a large group? I don't know, but I do know that some US and UK teens has found it to be a tool they enjoy using on a daily basis. And I know that as more media chronicles the rise and supposed downfall of Twitter more people are going to join and enjoy the service.

Re: Realizations about last night

Wait you had four of those nasty things?
