Allah is a joke? It was my understanding that the Muslim Allah and Judeo-Christian God is the same entity. Let me ask you this then: if someone lives their lives without professing their faith in Christianity are they bad people or lesser people than those who buy into it?

Dickiedoo - You know how many religions there have been throughout human history? Religion started and has continued to be only a means for explaining the unexplainable. The major religions were founded when there was very little scientific understanding. That's what is lost on the brainwashed masses. What better way to keep the money flowing into the coffers of the Rick Warrens and Pat Robertsons of this world than to tell others if they don't believe all the crap they've been fed in their lives (and recounted for centuries) that you'll spend eternity being burned and tortured. Kinda ironic how Christians burned and tortured non-believers on earth don't you say?

Well at least he's got a good imagination if he come up with that all on his own. Very misguided imagination mind you.

I know a guy who is about to start teaching biology in a nearby county that doesn't believe in evolution but rather goes for the intelligent design story. I've had some inroads with him but not many.

I just can't help but wish he would have picked something else to do with his life than teaching biology if he doesn't even believe in the bedrock of his field. It's pretty amazing but I imagine it's not too uncommon in the South.

Nobody is saying we're going to all die in ten years. Global warming is happening now and it's already causing problems. By taking steps to curb it, and we have the capabilities, it will start to reverse the damage we've done.

People like you are the reason nothing has really been done. Ahh, don't worry about it now for the sake of big business, let our kids worry about it. I'm glad there are people that are standing up for our planet and all its inhabitants, including John Oil Executive's grandchildren.

By the way, homosexuality is seen in other animals ... did they make a conscious choice to be that way?
