The original prosecutor in charge, Eva Finné, dropped the charges the same week they were made and stated they were groundless.

2. The two women who accused Assange know each other.

3. Eva Finné was removed from the case by Claes Borgström and a new prosecutor, Marianne Ny, was appointed. Her first act was to reinstate the charges.

4. Claes Borgström is a former politician. His law partner is Thomas Bodström. Thomas Bodström is Sweden's former Minister of Justice.

5. Thomas Bodström is currently in the USA. One could assume he is communicating and coordinating things with his partner back in Sweden.

6. It is Swedish protocol not to release the names of people accused of rape until after a conviction. The Swedish prosecutors office claims they have "no idea" how Assange's name was leaked.

7. Normally Swedish media will not publish an accused's name until after a conviction. Swedish media is controlled by a single ruling class family named Bonnier who work closely with local politicians to protect their media monopoly.

8. Claes Borgström's two sisters, Annette Kullenberg and Kerstin Vinterhed, both work for Bonnier family newspapers.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...

http://www.aklagare.se/Medi...

(In Swedish - the Swedish justice department says they did not release Assange's name and try to explain why Eva Finné was removed)

Re: Declare your economic independence

Moved from the USA in 1994. Now have Scandinavian and US passports as do my kids. Ran an online software business for many years but tired of the time necessary for customer support and the long, boring hours programming. Wrote a system to predict horse racing outcomes similar to Dr. Bill Benter's seminal work. Plan on moving back to the US next year and will stay until the kids have finished their High School years at a private prep school just outside of Boston.

Wife and I have picked out an island in the Caribbean just below the hurricane belt where we will retire. Working on our private pilots' licenses and then onto commercial so we can fly ourselves around without lines and the crazy security apparati appearing everywhere. No electronic strip searches for us, thanks!

Speak five languages including French, Spanish, and English, so anywhere in the Western Hemisphere is my oyster

Still not out of my 40's so many years (hopefully) left to live, learn, and have fun with the family.

Post festum, pestum!

Re: Un-DIG

Not to beat a dead horse, but any thoughts on the S&P trying to hit a full 1.618 fib retrace of the 666 March low at ~1077? It seems to be bouncing just below this level. The S&P also gapped downwards just above this in Spring.

Here's my somewhat feeble attempt at a S/R chart. I see it bouncing up against this resistance line and then likely heading down again.

Thoughts?

http://www.theaitrader.com/...

Re: CBS News producer arrested in $2 million Letterman extortion plot

Top Ten Reasons I Slept With Dave

1. He told me there was something in my underwear.

2. I find big ears attractive.

3. I got lost on the Late Night set and ended up on his couch.

4. He promised me a bologna on rye sandwich afterwards.

5. I thought he was the famous rapper Snoop Dave.

6. I used him to get to Paul.

7. It was in my contract.

8. That gap in his teeth mesmerized me.

9. I though it was part of my bonus.

10. What else is there to do Monday's after midnight?

Re: Simply Stated

Guess I draw my trendlines a little differently. I see a full 1.618 fib retrace from the S&P 666 bottom trying to bridge the old gap at ~1077. Am I drawing this completely wrong here?

http://www.theaitrader.com/...

Also, note the volume fade as we approach this level. If we breach it I believe we could go much higher. But my bet (via Mar 2010 puts) is we do not.

Re: Simply Stated

YoYffffff

Re: A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius

First post here at the slope. Interested in what some of you gurus think of my math:

666 S&P low March 2009

x 1.618 "magic" number

~1077 S&P high (Sept/Oct ??)

Take 1/2 the range = 1077 - 666 = 411/2 = 255

Add to the S&P low and multiply by the "magic" number inverse (1/1.618)

= 538 S&P low (Nov/Dec ??)

.........................

Obviously I don't buy the current market sentiment. Just trying to see where a reversal might take us.
