1 - Over inflated numbers in followers are definitely clique-ee and rarely do they reply to the small people as we are just not worthy, as you found out, unless, they think there is something in it for them. I never put them ALL in the same boat, as that wouldn't be fair but sure, its some. I do have some good friends that have pretty high numbers who are not like this.

3 - Hmmm Interesting, although I think it would be interesting for us to see the named and shamed, I don't think that it would serve any purpose. The followers of said SoMe's won't change their thinking, they are already brainwashed. People may not believe and would just think that its some sort of revenge, so more harm than good may come of it.

My penny's worth :)

Ha! Interesting! I do agree with the fact that it's a monopoly people have got so many (real) friends and family in the same place it's convenient, and would be hard to leave. Something better will come and ppl will leave.

In the past I never said No, always wanting to help people out or do things the way they wanted.

In my old age, I realised that you need to be able to protect yourself and them by saying no if that's what you really need to say.

Best to be honest and upfront and explain.
