Very likely some quants figured out an arb that they are exploiting.  The serial shorting could well be a function of max ammo at one time.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; PS I think Cramer should only appear during times of turmoil, since he seems to have a good grasp of market structure and what actually goes on behind the turrets.
