Push seems to make this process easier with the color-coding of the root... I think a DAW is a lot like a knife - you only need one, but it should be sharp. OooooOOOoo!

I am the victim of a terrible bug from this new update! I died underwater, now whenever I respawn the console says:
Reinserting player 0
Player count: 1
Reinserting player 0
Player count: 2
Reinserting player 0
Player count: 3
etc. and the player count rapidly climbs higher and higher. As the player count climbs the framerate drops until moving is impossible, and the worst part is if I save, quit and reload the game, I'm back to being dead again (all changes I had made to the world are lost.) It's an endless cycle of doom! D:

edit: I started a new world and tested this, the same bug occurred when dying. Has anybody else experienced this bug when dying? (test it on a level you don't care about, please!)

Re: And another thing..

Is there a way to run the Windows executable with more memory specified? Quite illegal, of course, but I felt it was still ethical. As necessary as laws are, they will always have their flaws, sometimes condemning the ethically innocent and sometimes freeing the ethically guilty.

Re: Speaking Piano

I saw this a while ago, it's really cool. It should probably be noted that the original kid's voice is mixed in over the piano, it's not just the piano you hear in the video. It's very informative.

Although I like the idea of a "slippery pulse", I feel that it's a bit too much. When I've heard ramping BPM in the non-electronic world, as in Balinese Gamelan, it tends to ramp up or down to a point, and then groove there for at least a measure or two before it changes again. When the tempo constantly changes, it sounds indecisive, especially since tempo changes often seem to be present for the purpose of being present, instead of being used to accentuate particular musical events. But perhaps that's something for which you were aiming!

I've listened quite a few times, and I think although it's difficult to find something to hold on to (mostly because of the tempo shifts), it is interesting and stimulating. Like calculus for some people, maybe.

Re: AGARGARA

Thanks!
Sample from http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Re: Public relations: compare and contrast

The next time somebody is arrested for file sharing, he or she would be ill-advised to get a lawyer pro Bono.

Re: The perfect bell curve of mediocrity

You make some interesting points, and I do agree that trying to compare Apple and Google is like comparing apples to googles.

However, I don't buy that Google creates a perfect bell curve of mediocrity, neither in functionality or design. I don't think the former point needs arguing, and as for the latter it really comes down to personal preference. In my opinion form follows function, and Google products tend to appeal to my personal aesthetic of simplicity.

I'm not sure Apple is really too much more visionary than Google. Both companies tend to take existing products and make excellent versions of them, while adding features that you didn't even know you needed.

Re: edison... live at love tech

Is that ProteinDS I see there?
