Hilarious, Kristi. And I totally hear you. A couple years ago I stopped folding his laundry and just throw it in a corner. As of this weekend, I'm only washing mine and my daughter's. And as for story time at night - I think it's totally fair for you to rotate every other night.

Thanks so much for sharing this with us. Your posts are so inspiring. I think we take for granted the opportunities we have in the U.S. and thus become complacent instead of continuing the fight for equality. Reading posts like this reminds me of why we started fighting and why we must continue to do so.

Great post, Megan. I love the line that basically says "take some responsibility and improve your upper body strength"! If all problems could be solved that way, I'd be really happy because I like doing push-ups :) Seriously though, great post and hopefully WTS can help get the convo going on women's golf and women's every-sport.

I'll have to check these out! I love reading biographies about great athletes. There was one about Marla Streb, a kick-a mountain biker. I can't remember the title, but it was really good. Also loved Michelle Akers' book, "The Game and the Glory". My all-time favorite however is "The Silence of Great Distance" by Frank Murphy. It's about female distance runners and how they are unique and complicated athletes.

I know Jenny Green! She was one of the best pole vaulters in the country in college! She vaulted for the University of Nebraska.
