Surely worth five (or 10) minutes a day. We can’t do everything, but we can do just about anything for five minutes.

Re: API Keys vs OAuth Tokens vs JWT Tokens - The Zapier Engineering Blog - Zapier

Thanks for the notes, Mike! I understand your issue with comparing these three topics. As I mentioned, they aren't mutually exclusive. But they are topics people are thinking about when they look to secure their API.

On OAuth 2, we completely agree! It would be great if every service supported it!

Re: How to Use Zapier Webhooks - Zapier

Aha! Our Webhooks app also has a trigger to poll a URL instead of waiting for a webhook. If you have JSON on the other end of that URL, you're set. Of course, the trouble with indoor mapping is knowing where you are. GPS doesn't work so well indoors. There are companies trying to fix this, but at the very least having a map is useful. Perhaps if it's searchable you can find your own location. Looking forward to seeing the feature go live.

Re: Save The Salarymen Foundation

I'll take it! The practice of adding lat/lon point to the location field definitely does not cut it. It only keeps the current location, so it can't be traced back to previous tweets. Plus, it takes away an interesting piece of information: where someone is from.

As I've looked at fellow Where 2.0 attendees on Twitter over the last few days, knowing where someone is an interesting additional data point. Knowing where they are? Not as useful.

Your syntax suggestion makes sense to me. I like the idea that it is both human-readable and possibly geo-codeable. The slash seems like a reasonable character, as it reads like wiki-style /emphasis/. The only problem I can forsee is a one word slash-tag, followed by a standard text, then a normal use of a slash.

For example:
Hanging out at /PDX, but my battery died, so I have to go w/o Internet.
I'm at /PDX and I don't know what the lat/lon point is.

I'm not sure there's a solution to that, other than hoping users learn to avoid it.

Re: Alexander H.
