if someone had tried to tell me about it, i probably would never have seen it, mostly because i'm sure no one would have ever conveyed the aesthetics of it, which were the things i loved the most. it isn't what i expected at all.

i haven't been home all night (and therefore had no idea this was even happening) until a friend of mine (a celtics fan) txtd me to make yet another comment about lebron leaving. wah wah wah. i think that when it comes to trades, what lebron wants, lebron gets - meaning jamison over stoudemire. my friend is just mad jamison isn't going to the celtics. haha.

in regards to Z - i hope there's a buyout and he's back in cleveland in 30. it would be a fucking shame if he goes somewhere else, especially when everyone's hopes are so high for this year to be cleveland's championship.

uh first of all i love that my ridiculous cavs love has cemented with other people. second - i had a talk w/someone tonight that we're shocked by how many jerseys the cavs HAVE. white, navy, wine - all current, wine and blue throwbacks, gold throwbacks.. so many. i gotta say - i love the cavs logo they use for the maroon and blue throwbacks, though, so i support them even if they're weird.

i'm not a huge jimmy fallon fan - in fact i rarely even watch late night tv - but at least his show has excellent guests and musical guests. AND the roots. bangin' all around.

oh man, welcome to the club girl. i have had a crush on thurston moore since.. as long as i can remember. there was a spin magazine interview with him in 2004 where he is just.. the coolest. i wrote this about it, under the quote "he was just a dude." -

this month's spin interview with thurston moore further served to solidify my love for and desire to be him. the fact that the initial photo is of him in his basement surrounded by his records, or "special friends" as the spin caption writer called them, was only the beginning. seriously. i'd be kim, too, but i'd rather be more of a kim/thurston hybrid - not like.. offspring (i dont want to be coco or anything) but a combination of the two of them.

the fact that the man blows up a swimming pool during the interview for coco's birthday party, talks about how steve jones of the sex pistols was 'genuine, authentic; he was just a dude', doesnt let coco watch riding in cars with boys because he watches it first and decides she's too young for it, talks shit on kim's emo boy photography project, talks about going to see xbxrx over something corporate (aka live part 2), calls joey ramone a 'big fucking dork' - in the most endearing way possible, and says he doesn't really give a shit if paris hilton is cool or not. and the man still says the word fuck. and named a dog after merzbow.

IS HE THE BEST?? he might be.

i feel the same way you do about dealing with her - that if i never talk about her, she will just FADE AWAY and become like.. alan keyes. the real zing to me of the cover is the headline itself - ouch. and the hilarious (and the part that makes me LOL constantly) is that the photos were shot by a bff's boyfriend in AK. so every time i see it i'm like ugh god sarah palin but fuck yeah brian adams ! hitchens wrote the cover story, so you'll be agreeing w everything he says in the article. haha.
