Overall went really well. He latched and slept through the whole 2+ hour flight, both ways. We gate checked our stroller/car seat and everything was smooth. Hoping he stays a good traveler. We might try a much longer trip to New York in September.

Re: The Old Reader: behind the scenes - What Not Dying Looks Like

There are some RSS functions on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/he...

Re: http://blog.shopp.ly/post/19580862343

There's a link above, in the post. But there are also several garages down there, so that's an option. I park further back near 11th Street. It's not difficult over there, especially on the weekends.

Re: Roosevelt Island Gets Waterfront Cafe With Expansive Skyline Views

John Brown Smokehouse. I am in a similar situation, though being a bit less agressive than you (maybe I'll change that). I read a book, Why We Get Fat, and, after reading it, couldn't help cutting carbs from my diet.

I wouldn't say that I follow a specific diet, like paleo or Adkins, but I do avoid rice, bread, pasta and sugar. I don't find it too difficult at all. And, without much effort, I've gone from 220 to 205 in 6 weeks.

Everyone tells me that I'll just put it back on as soon as I add carbs back to my diet, but I feel so great - why would I add them back? I look at it like people who eat gluten free, or who eat vegetarian... it's just how I eat now: without many carbs.

Best decision I ever made.

Re: http://blog.shopp.ly/post/19076738554

It's now $59. I think it would take some experimenting. This post was a while back, so things may have changed. I ended up not using it at all, actually. Decided to stop importing my Twitter posts - too much noise.

Re: I made $14K on AirBnB.com at $99/night

Wow - the comments here are harsh. I rent my place in Chelsea on Airbnb all the time for the same reasons, I travel a lot for personal and business reasons. I've never really had any problems. Keys are a huge issue! I've gotten so annoyed by it that I've made many, many copies of my keys and I will mail them to people, even internationally, so they have them when they land.

I never book people back to back on the same day, I always leave at least 1 day buffer. Maybe I'm losing out on some cash, but it's worth it to me to give me more time to flip the apartment.

Oddly, seriously, my experiences are nearly exactly the same as yours.

To address some of the comments:

I have lived in my building for years and I'm convinced I am the quietest, most normal neighbor ever. Honestly, I worry about my neighbors disturbing my guests, not the other way around. (Which has happened, by the way). Guests don't tend to cause problems... Airbnb has their credit card info, contact info and they know they are going to be review at the end of the stay - can you say the same for your neighbors? No one is reviewing them....

As for taxes, Airbnb will send you a 1099 at the end of the year. The money is NOT tax free.

Re: Conditional Reminders for Email

Any plans to add that for Exchange accounts? Maybe just remarkable.

You mentioned that both ValueClick and InterCLICK operate largely in remnant. This is true and, in my opinion, puts them both at a great disadvantage. The benefits that you mention, of being in a hot market and having a healthy growth trajectory, put networks like AdMob and Quattro Wireless in a whole other category - one that hasn't become commoditized yet.

I'm not sure that it's all that fair to compare them. Though, you work with what you have and I get that.

Disclosure: I work for a company that operates an ad network, but not one mentioned here.

Re: Welcome to NYClothingDrive.org

That's a shame!
