Thats what i love about Twitter. Their web product is simple so they can bring that simplicity to their app. I use the app as a replacement for the website. Other apps should just have the important features and as you suggested should have multiple apps.

In my opinion, Netflix is still like a startup, while they may have figured out what seems like a great service offering they still need to figure out better ways to monetize it better. They maybe at the top but its one of its kind with no direct competing service yet. I think the market is overreacting given that Netflix would still be cheaper compared to DVD, on-demand, cable.

Nice post, been on my mind for a while. But what about an exited investment? Let's say you invested in OMGPOP and 5 years later it went public, would you invest in another company that comes to you with a similar idea years later?

I agree with you that the team is awesome. I think Paul Graham backed them because he felt that the team was like cockroaches, they never die. I think he too didn't see the value of it right away. I think Brian Chesky mentions this In his startup school talk.

Love the experience you had back there. It is indeed one of those spiritual places around the planet. I love the place i live in NJ, have 2 mosques, 3 temples, 1 synagogue, and 2 churches in the near vicinity. Feels good when one is part of so many cultures.
