Actually, with as smart as Dumbledor is, I'm sure he would have a system set in place for such an eventuality.

See, after I read Book 3, I posited to my friends that, should I ever appear before myself, I will use a pre-decided code word: "flibbertigibbit". I therefore know I'm not a dark wizard imposting myself.

Thus:

"Oh God! The Tri-Wizard Cup whisked Harry and Cedric away, thereby allowing Voldemort to return, stronger than ever!"
Dumbledor Time-Turners himself back, say 4 hours. "Cup's a portkey, flibbertigibbit."
Dumbledor replaces the Harry/Cedric parcel with a tactical nuclear device (science only fails to function on Hogwarts grounds, mind).

If anything, the thing that boggles me is the worst "unforgivable" curse kills one person. *A* dude. HAND GRENADES do more damage than that. No one came up with an A LOTTA kadava? What stops Voldemort from detonating a nuke 2 feet outside Hogwarts boundaries?

They have NO WAY of ending a life with a simple device." Man, if I'D been the Dark Lord Hogwarts would have been a smear before the bloody PREQUEL ended.

Do you yourself have nay favorites? Your comments, while generally relevant and funny, don't usually give much about your own feelings towards a given piece.

Seriously, after the satellite control system is destroyed, a few can actually be seen to FALL APART. Not BLOWN apart, but like their noggins are held in place with a fridge magnet!)

No, of course you're not in trouble, I'm just really surprised. Tribal art is functionally spikey tendrils at random angles anyway; it's reasonable to assume it would turn up, just odd.

Though with regard to the stats, I apparently got gypped!

I got a +2 to Shredding, nothing to Radness, +4 to Bossness (so there's that at least), and a -2D6 to save vs. skin cancer. Must be those lame Diablo-esque randomly-generated bonus rules.

Frankly, I'm not sure if I'd be stoked or trepidatious if it glowed, period.

I can just see that going over well with the GF:
"Why are you glowing in the presence of our waitress?"
"Oh, sweetheart, I'm not-"
"So I suppose your JEANS just started glowing? Or is that green Jell-O? And I SAW that bioluminescence over at Wahoo's"
"But that was red! Clearly a sponger! Uh, I mean-"
"Ah-HA!"

One can pocket a pendant when you're out on a date. Leaving ones hip behind is... awkward.

This disturbs me. Not because of the art, or the subject matter, but rather because I have this symbol, almost verbatim, tattooed across my left hip.

I freehanded it.

Not from memory. Not from an image. Freehanded as in, "came up with totally original (I thought) tribal pattern for the express purpose of the tattoo." I've never seen that music video before; I'm puzzled.

I don't suppose you're a tattoo inker in Orange County, CA, are you?
