nope. you should make this playlist* and carry it around with you a few days (after the BP3-period dies down, of course) -- I listened to it about three times through yesterday with this sequence, and I have to say -- it's pretty good. It's a lot darker, but it works. It would have been a nice contrast with Blueprint, but would have made sense after still getting hated on/attacked, etc.; and it would have been a great transition heading into the Black Album. I really wish I could order it as an album and put that in my "collector's case" with BP 1 & 3.

[* -- you'll have to grab some "silence" from somewhere just to space out a few songs, especially the "hidden tracks". I grabbed from both Guster's "Keep it Together", and Kanye's "Welcome to the Good Life -- The Graduate".]

I will concede that most of my choices were either Kanye or Just Blaze tracks, but ... after the first Blueprint ... that's how it should have been.

Though "Bonnie and Clyde" was an alright song, I was fine leaving it off, and "Diamonds is Forever" really has to either open the album or nothing, so ... I chose nothing.

Everything else that got left off (save for "All Around the World" and "What They Gonna Do Pt. II", which both get 3.0 / 5.0) are rated 2.5 or less in my book.

yeah, I've been looking at the charting of everything for this little retrospective ... it's shocking that "Run This Town" is his highest placing ever (and even that might be a product of Rihanna and/or possibly 'Ye more than Jay).

As ubiquitous as "Big Pimpin'" was, and as radio/club/everything-friendly as "I Just Want to Love You (Give it 2 Me) proved to be, I would have assumed he'd had something #1 at some point.

I'd definitely have to choose the latter. (you can refer to my post earlier today for what my current feelings are on common sense.)

I'd hope the person could improve their related-field skills, but I've found that very few people seem to be able to improve their propensity for being intuitive and sensible.
