I agree with you and Foster. Pitt + WVU = MONEY!!! Not to mention, the fans would have loved it. I'm not certain it could have been better,
if VA Tech had been bowl worthy and was paired with WVU. No, in this case, somebody was going for the NY money market. Thar beez lotsa
Cuse fans in the Big Apple. In fact, this could be a mini-version of Georgia/WVU in the Georgia Dome back when Pat White was the signal
caller. Which, by the way, is fine with me. A lot of the pundits are picking Syracuse; if not in the majority, damn close to a 50:50 split. Of this
years bowl games, this one could be one of the biggest surprises. I honestly think it'll be a good one. I just hope my Mountaineers come out
on top, is all. As for the main point, and in this case, somebody's gonna be line'n their pockets. It just won't be Syracuse or WVU.

Foster, I wish I could argue with you. But, you're absolutely right. And while I was certain the travel costs would come back and
haunt WVU for joining the Big-12 (not to mention the $20M they spent in damages to leave the Big East early), they got it all back
this season. They've been on TV ten (Count em; TEN!!!) times this year. I think they made their money back, especially given only
four of those games were away. It's precisely the reason they joined the Big-12.

Zac is back; he's...almost...glad the season is over. (Let's face it; I got a little tired of yelling at my TV.) Worse than I had hoped,
it's still better than I feared. Given the Orange are also 7-5 (refreshing to see em do better after doing to Louisville this year what
they did to WVU last year) this should be a decent game to watch. Yeah, you can expect WVU's defense will make Nassib look a
lot better than he really is (and he isn't half bad), but you can also expect that Syracuse's defense will not be able to shut down
Alston, Austin, Bailey, Buie, Smith, and Woods. Just too many weapons there. So, who else is going where?

USC-1978, since my shout-out for SC worked so well last week, by God we're gonna do it again. Not only shall this be the 1st season in which the Game Cocks won a game as a Top-10 team against another Top-10 team, but since they've broken that curse, they're gonna do it twice in a row. Why? Because, like LSU, they've got a defense. Unlike LSU, they've got an offense which has been far more successful against teams far better than the likes of North TX, Idaho, & Towson St. That's why SC wins this one; that's why they win the SEC East. Go GAME-COCKS!!!

I'll tell ya, hr, I can't take too many more like that. I was a mess afterwards. Right down to the wire, both teams played like they intended to win it. That's the way a game should be played. The only sorry thing about it is that a good team had to loose. I hope everybody realizes there were no losers in that game, especially the ESPN Game Day Crew, none of whom game WVU a chance. But that's OK. Besides, I have a inkling there are more cardiac game to come. Hope the Long Horns bounce back. (God! And another tough one for em next week.)

Yo, 1978!!! I don't have a new article as yet, but by God I believe I've just seen it all. ESPN's, Kirk Herbstreit, is scared of CHICKENS!!! (They actually provided a live Rooster for Lee Corso, who picked it up right away, but Herbstreit couldn't get away fast enough.) That's probably the best omen I've seen for your Game Cocks to beat those pesky Dawgs. 1st time they'll have beaten GA FOUR straight; 1st time they'll have beaten a Top-10 ranked team while being Top-10 themselves.
