http://disqus.com/by/Z80GameCoder/enFri, 22 May 2009 20:21:05 -0000http://theothersideofeverything.com/flip/2009/05/farewell-ro/#comment-9813684<p>Life can be fragile.<br>I learned that in the last twelve months.<br>And I changed a lot of my life due to learning that.<br>I can honestly say it was for the better.<br>Having had a close-ish brush with death I know I need to value life more.<br>And to that end, be more secure (ironically) and bolder in my life.<br>Whilst a lot of the online community is not connected in the truer sense, there definitely are times when connections are genuine.<br>This is most probably true in real life too.<br>As in there is not much difference, except maybe quantity (as in I may have 120 followers, 12 of whom I know and have a genuine relationship with of some sort.)<br>It is sad to say goodbye to someone with whom one has had a genuine relationship with.<br>I had a co-worker at my first job, who helped me progress to greater things, but stayed behind, passed on (Alan Steele).<br>I still miss him to this day, he was a good sort, and I wouldn't be where I am without him in my life.<br>It is sad to suffer the loss of someone dear to us, but it is comforting to know we will see them in the future.<br>And we will all be together again, in time.</p>Z80GameCoderFri, 22 May 2009 20:21:05 -0000http://mjhunter.tumblr.com/post/32117904#comment-357879<p>Mark,<br>You are doing a grand job.<br>It's great to hear you are busy with so much rewarding work.<br>Kudos.<br>Cheers!<br>- Paul</p>Z80GameCoderSun, 20 Apr 2008 12:06:13 -0000
